Una Instinct by Natura

I bought it recently and only just felt brave enough to share my thoughts. Here in Argentina, with this summer heat, I wore it on a warm afternoon and a cool evening. It’s a chameleon: suits any time of year, day or night. Sweet but not overpowering; the vanilla and coumarin combination is lovely, fruity like jam, with an exquisite floral heart where ylang-ylang takes the lead. Reminded me of Good Girl Blush, sharing many notes. Good longevity and moderate sillage; it doesn’t smell like a natural perfume. Delighted to have it and hope it doesn’t get delisted.

I fell in love. That potent opening of acidic red fruits with apple went crazy on me. I had no expectations because someone called it ‘a little perfume’ and read it was the same as Humor 5, which I like but get so tired of its sweetness. Una Instinct isn’t that sweet; it’s acidic and fruity. The opening was an intense Biographie Desperté before settling into those very acidic, slightly powdery red fruits. I sense a bit of Blush as it dries, but without the sweetness. I adored it. It resembles Avon’s Eternal Magic, but instead of blue fruits, here we have very acidic red ones.

What a beautiful perfume; it smells of impalpable sugar, subtle… and it has a note that makes it very sensual, almost sexual.

It’s my perfume for Saturday nights. It smells of dry sweet notes, with apple, pear, and a touch of cherry. Longevity is good on skin, but on clothes it’s much more noticeable. I give it a 9.

The fruits are present from the start, all notes blending into one. As it dried, I felt it slightly sharp and powdery yet sweet at the same time.

Hello, what a delight! I let myself be swept away by that apple note; honestly, I usually enjoy perfumes with apple, but here it smells more of berries or cherry as mentioned above. I’m not a fan of berries, but this scent absolutely enchanted me—it’s lovely and seductive. I only think it would have been perfect as a rouge. Edit: Here in Mexico, it lasted very little; they’re going to discontinue it just like the Ilia Dual. I don’t understand how they can remove such beautiful perfumes.

I was hugely surprised. I expected something sweeter and caramelised (because the classics—Intenso, Blush, Senses, and Infinito—are quite sweet, plus the red bottle looks like a strawberry caramel), but no, it’s not sweet. It’s more floral, like a light floral talc over a warm, very moderate sweet base, giving softness. Upon application, I got very clean bursts, almost soapy (could be my skin accentuating those notes). Of all the Una scents, the one that comes closest is Art, without being similar. In my first test, it brought back memories of Ispah’s freshness; they aren’t similar either, I’m just saying to guide anyone without a sample. It also shares something with Luna Confiante, but Luna is much sweeter and ‘plasticky’; by contrast, Una Instinct is silkier and more elegant. It’s not a great innovation but it’s very pretty. I’ll continue testing it to add more data.
