Descripción

Homem Verum by Natura is a woody-spicy fragrance for men. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by Verônica Kato and John Gamba. The top notes unfold with sage, black pepper, and nutmeg; the heart reveals violet leaves, amber, and jasmine; while the base notes settle on suede, copaíba balsam, vanilla, vetiver, cashmere, iris, musk, cedar, and sandal.

Very exquisite. While it has an 80% similarity with Carolina Herrera CH Sport for men, with Natura being the particularity of being less sweet and more mossy and violet. If you see Natura soaps, look: I moved from Hermes and Chanel soaps and in the end, regarding quality, longevity and fixation, I’m very grateful to have stayed with Natura. I don’t pay more for a brand than for quality; Natura has very good products. It bears no resemblance to Encre Noire by Lalique.

  • german rino

It resembles CH Men, but not in the quality of the notes; that said, it will ultimately leave you with a tremendous patchouli scent, very difficult for young people to handle.

I love this perfume; it’s quite heavy and very long-lasting, especially on clothes; undoubtedly the best Men’s fragrance so far. I still need to try the last two which are only available in Brazil. On me it lasts over eight hours and on clothes for days; the trail remains present. Although it is green, it’s not mature; I’d say it’s for adults but easily usable after 20. Since application it smells of suede with green touches, but you should try it first because not everyone likes green notes and some find them too mature. In my opinion it resembles CH Men quite a bit, but I’d go for the Men’s version for the price: you pay half of what CH Men costs. Although well, due to its trail and longevity, it’s easy to get used to the scent and stop noticing it after a few wears. Worth trying.

This fragrance is too good; it’s a clone of CH Men, smells 95% the same and lasts longer than the original for a slightly lower price. Honestly, I recommend it highly.

  • It’s incredible, excellent, soft, slightly sweet, ideal for the office or a romantic night. A super pleasant scent; that kind of sugared suede with green notes gives it elegance and sensuality. It’s very easy to relate to CH Man and easy to wear. Ideal for blind buying and for gifting.

I’ve bought it a second time; I find it very good. Yes, many people say I smell like marijuana, as its aroma resembles that plant, but I quite like it, haha.

  • My first impression was: I’ve heard this before, I don’t think my nose would relate it to CH by Carolina Herrera; I live in the interior of Argentina where it’s easier to find Natura than an imported fragrance. Nothing to do with marijuana, this smells of sage and suede. Unfortunately, it has the weakest projection in the Men’s line. I own the entire range and curiously, I notice this is of better quality than the others, although in my opinion Potence and the Spices (now discontinued) are the richest.

Let’s say it’s the twin brother of Carolina Herrera CH, but this one is less sweet and slightly more herbal. Both smell good and are very similar, yet I prefer this Natura version because it’s less sweet and more herbal. Natura certainly perfects what’s already been done; if you already own Carolina Herrera CH, there’s no point buying this unless you’re running low on the other.

  • It’s a clone of Carolina Herrera 212 Men VIP, smelling identical; the only difference is the pepper note. If you don’t like that, don’t bother buying it.

  • Spectacular fragrance: opens just like Carolina Herrera but then turns green, creamy and powdery. It feels incredibly powdery in the air and its trail is enormous; a friend had it and the wind carried the scent to me from about eight metres away. It’s an atomic bomb! Very versatile, I give it 9/10. Buy it.

  • I bought it blind, it arrived yesterday, and what a delightful surprise!!! I didn’t have much confidence in it because they said it smelled like cannabis or something similar. I assure you, it doesn’t smell anything like that at all. To me, honestly, it seemed an exquisite fragrance. Longevity: 7-8 hours (barely on the skin at the end), sillage: moderate, scent: 9/10, price: 10/10 (I got it on sale and I can’t stop smelling it).

  • I don’t have Carolina Herrera’s CH so I don’t know the similarity, but Verum is a sweet, creamy fragrance with a leather scent. As an anecdote, the first time I wore it, my girlfriend asked if I had smoked marijuana.

  • To start, this perfume does not smell like marijuana; it smells very good, elegant, and masculine due to the violet and suede notes (similar to the leather note). It is true that it has an 80% vibe similar to CH Men, but it is less sweet, more versatile, and I also perceive green notes that add freshness, with acceptable longevity and fixation.

  • marquitosparana

I love it! It has nothing to envy from any other designer fragrance. Many people have told me about the marijuana-like scent, but one has to consider who is saying it… they know nothing about fragrances. Those very same people who told me that afterwards tried to buy the perfume from me. It’s very good.

  • Verum is a very potent herbal, one of those super masculine perfumes I can’t share with my husband; he adores this fragrance because its longevity exceeds any expectation, literally lasting over 12 hours on his skin, still detectable after a shower, and the projection is also very good, receiving many compliments even when his nose stops perceiving it.

  • byrgertidesson

It’s a green, fresh fragrance with a slightly aquatic musky dry-down. It vaguely reminded me of Avon’s Encounter. It has decent longevity and projection for the price, and a fresh, clean scent that won’t make you stand out, though I doubt it will offend anyone (well, perhaps niche lovers for bringing a $30 fragrance that does its job). Rating: 7/10.

  • Veronica Kato’s best creation for men. Many have already said it resembles CH Men, but I stick with this one a thousand times over. Super herbal and potent opening, exquisite dry-down, and a sillage, projection, and longevity worthy of the best designer scents. I like it more than CH Men because it is less sweet and more spiced, heavier, a gentleman’s perfume. Scent 10, Price 9, Longevity 10. Recommended, but not so much for young guys.

  • I tested it with a small amount and it feels herbal, slightly mentholated, sweet, with a very soft suede/leather base at the end. Excellent for hot days. If applied heavily, it becomes a strong herbal and minty scent. Be careful.

  • What a tremendous surprise with this fragrance. I didn’t expect a catalogue product to perform this well, although it is quite flat and that could be annoying… it’s a pleasant green scent with a touch of sweetness; you can detect the musk and suede; very good longevity.

  • To be honest, I was genuinely surprised by how similar it is to CH Men. I tested them side by side and yes, they are almost identical. The Natura version is slightly more herbal, leaning towards that note reminiscent of cannabis, though it’s more patchouli-driven. It’s green, fresh, sweet, and herbal, like freshly cut grass. It’s quite linear, but of high quality, with excellent longevity and projection. If you like CH Men, this is equal to or better. I wouldn’t buy it blind, but without a doubt, it’s top-tier. Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 9/10, Projection: 8/10, Sillage: 7/10, Value: 10/10, Blind Buy: 6/10, Season: Temperate and warm climates.

Wow, wow, wow. The resemblance to Ch is phenomenal, hard to believe. Slightly less sweet, but that powdery/herbal aspect is a delight. Unbeatable price from Natura. It’s the first fragrance I’ve bought from this brand and I was delighted. I’ve always loved Carolina Herrera’s Ch, my girlfriend’s favourite scent and my dream fragrance. I loved it until the reformulations ruined it to the point where I didn’t want to buy it again. The original’s sillage and longevity were poor, nothing cheap. All of this improved and surpassed by Natura Verum.

  • If you still have the chance, buy it. Floral, sweet, herbal, and woody aroma with excellent longevity and great versatility. It’s 95% similar to Carolina Herrera’s Ch Men, as I own both and decided to purchase it after comparing it with a 1 ml sample they gifted me. Knowing it was more affordable, I didn’t hesitate. The noticeable difference is that this smells slightly more herbal than Ch Men. A lady told me she loved that scent, whereas Ch Men was her favourite, but she used this one that day. It suits everything from sports occasions to going to the office on Fridays without being overlooked. At first, sweet flowers with leather stand out; within minutes, herbal and woody notes emerge and continue. Longevity: 7, Sillage: 10, Value: 10, Versatility: 8, Compliments: 10. Total: 9.

  • I’m not sure what it has to do with Ch as I haven’t tried it; what I do know is that the notes aren’t easy to identify. It smells like a soup or cream that stings the nostrils, with sharp notes analogous to citrus (without being so) and woods in the base, placing it in the realm of oriental masculine scents. The descriptor that sums it up is ‘synthetic’, though vague. It’s cheap, projects well, and lasts quite a while, with excellent value for money. It sparked my curiosity, which is why I bought it to answer the question ‘what does this smell like’. I don’t think I’ll use it much, perhaps for indoor wear. I used it as intended and, I must admit, despite everything, it’s a high-volume scent that accompanies you all day without being overwhelming: two applications under the shirt are enough. It appears complex, changing noticeably over the hours. I compared it with Ch. Although they share notes, HV feels like a Ch Extreme, with notes amplified to the point where they’re hard to identify except through generic descriptors. Ch is more delicate and refined, with complex evolution and attractive base notes (I could find analogies with Creed Millesime). If you’re looking for longevity, HV beats Ch by a landslide. If you want to complicate your life, I’d say Ch is an EdT and HV an EdP. I see them as complementary.

  • Eduardo1978

Pure green grass. I love it. On the skin, it has good longevity and projection, but on clothes, it’s a direct punch to the nose. Highly recommended.

  • LUIS HEINSTEIN

Smells like sugar-coated weed. I didn’t like it, though it’s not bad. It seems they tried to copy Carolina Herrera’s Ch Men, but this Verum lasts less and smells more herbal, which doesn’t quite appeal to me. Its low price matches what it offers: it smells of herbs with sugar and nothing more. It’s very linear and fades quickly on the skin. I’ve finished a bottle and won’t be buying it again.

  • Eduardo1978

Months pass and I keep insisting: this Verum is truly delightful. I don’t understand why it’s defined as ozonic or aquatic. It’s entirely green grass and suede (in intensity). I recommend trying it and experimenting with your senses.

  • I hate knowing it’s a discontinued gem from Natura. It smells herbal yet sweet in perfect balance; not freshly cut grass, but fresh aromatic herbs with a slight amber undertone. It’s addictive—I know I won’t be able to restock it, so I use it sparingly for personal enjoyment. It brings me peace to smell it, and I adore it.

  • Finally found it after much trouble. It arrived and I’m delighted. It’s 95% Ch Men, with excellent quality, projection, and longevity. Notes are green, woody, powdery, with a just-right alcohol kick. My favourites are Ch Men, Herrera For Men, and Perry Ellis 360 Red, which I cherish dearly; that’s why this Homem Verum was a gift from heaven. Fragrances add special touches to moments, create memories, and bring about liveliness, calm, and joy.

  • I agree it’s very similar to Herrera’s CH, which I have as a 10ml decant. Here, the sweetness and woods are adorned by copaiba; the rest is almost identical to Carolina Herrera. If you know that scent, there’s nothing more to say. The longevity and projection are similar, with Natura being slightly superior, noting that it is also very subtle. Excellent fragrance, very good quality, and recommended.

  • Elegant, sophisticated, and clean. It’s a masculine scent for a 90s gentleman. Personally, I wear it daily and it’s one of my favourites.

  • It has 90% similarity with the CH Men by Carolina Herrera. I’d highlight its longevity: with just two sprays, you get 8-9 hours of excellent performance, and the projection lasts about 4 hours. I bought it a year ago and use it little, but it’s not bad; in fact, it receives compliments from women who love it deeply. The iris at the start can be heavy, but it disappears after 1-2 hours. It’s a blind buy if you liked the CH Men.

  • Nicolás.a.b

Excellent fragrance. Almost identical to CH Men and you can’t tell it’s a lower-quality dupe. In short: green, sweet, and woody. Lately, I’ve been looking for perfumes at Natura that aren’t synthetic and overwhelming; this is one of the few good ones I’ve found.

  • FleurDuMale35

I took advantage of a Verum batch (expiry 04/24) and, knowing what I was getting into, I bought it. It’s very similar to my CH Men, though there are differences: this one is more herbal and green, whereas the CH is more sweetened. They are 70-80% similar, a scent that is pleasant. Use it up to 20 degrees; in higher heat, it becomes coarse, like dry grass or cannabis. It’s for everyday wear, ideal for dates or going out with a partner. Curiously, my male friends are the ones who compliment it the most. It projects well for the first hour and a half before settling close to the skin; the longevity is acceptable, around 7 hours.

  • It’s the best CH Men clone I’ve found, it even works better than the original. I have half a bottle from 2018/2019 that performs flawlessly. The problem is I’ve grown tired of it, perhaps due to the potency or the scent. I remember buying a cheap CH Men and testing it in the store; it was practically the same as the Verum, and I ran out of the shop in a panic. I returned to the perfumery and CH Men won me over. The Verum has impressive projection and longevity; a colleague noticed it from 6 metres away after 3 hours. It turns heads, earns compliments, and some subtle complaints; many say it smells like cannabis. Before buying, test it on your skin several times. If you like it, you’ll save money and have something that doesn’t envy the original’s quality.

  • RoosterMoretti

I bought it in 2022 and let it sit forgotten for a long time. At first, I sensed fresh grass in the morning, but nothing revolutionary. I read it was related to CH Men and tried it today with high hopes, yet I found nothing as positive as other reviews; I find it weak, very light, and bears a strong resemblance to Homem Neo (I prefer the Neo myself). I wouldn’t pay more than the 400 pesos it cost two years ago. The good thing is that, being discontinued, it fits perfectly into a collection.

  • AROMAFRAGANCIA

Definitely reminds me of CH Men, though it’s not identical. The bottle is simple with a magnetic cap; I bought it for around 750 Mexican pesos. I really liked it and used it a few days ago since the original had been reformulated, and this Verum was a decent option. The longevity is about 6 hours, the projection reaches an arm’s length, and the trail lasts around 2 hours.

  • AlexisKees

It feels like the lost son of CH Men and Montblanc Emblem: the opening is pure CH Men, while the dry-down leans towards Emblem. It smells spectacular of leather, amber, and vanilla. On my skin, the green note is subtle; I detect more of a sweet, woody leather with a peppery freshness and a plush iris base. It’s super versatile for weather, occasion, and age, though I’d avoid it in extreme heat.
