Homem Neo by Natura is a woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2022, this composition was created by Verônica Kato, Antoine Maisondieu and Christophe Raynaud. The top notes unfold black pepper, pink pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, pataqueira, grapefruit and bergamot; the heart reveals cashmere, copaiba balsam, guaiac wood, vetiver and Atlas cedar; while the base notes complete the structure with amber, musk, tonka bean, vanilla, coumarin and moss.

  • A great fragrance from Natura. Perhaps many won’t notice what I do: as an owner of Naxos by Xerjoff, one of my favourites, I know it well, and I’d say NEO is too similar, even sharing many notes. It lacks the honey and jasmine, but its scent would be even closer. It has left me speechless: it’s not Naxos, but the quality difference is enormous. For those who can’t afford the Xerjoff, this is a sublime alternative in terms of value. Exquisite, seductive and well-made. In the dry-down it recalls CH Leather and Naxos only in the opening.

  • It’s a woody, intense fragrance with over 8 hours of longevity on the skin. It projects strongly in the first few hours. I tried it but couldn’t handle it: there’s a note (perhaps the cashmere wood) that I find repulsive. It feels like a very strong talc scent, like fabric softener. Don’t buy it blindly or by chance. It’s not an easy fragrance to like.

I own it and keep using it for a very good reason: HOMEN NEO is the upgraded version of HOMEM VERUM. Natura took that basic bestseller and cranked up the longevity and masculinity to the max. It’s super sporty yet perfect for the office. If Verum was a massive hit, NEO is its faithful heir. Verum used to feel very one-dimensional; now, NEO adds a modern twist to those standout notes, rounding everything off nicely. It projects well, similar to CH Men by Carolina Herrera, and doesn’t overwhelm the women around you, which Verum often did.

  • Pleasantly surprised with this fragrance. For me, it is a very masculine scent, ideal for a cold day. I would not wear it at night, but it is a matter of taste. It evokes the vibe of being in a classic clothing store. An interesting proposal from Natura; along with Homem Tato, I think they have managed to break away from the traditional and it is appreciated. It is not of great projection but its longevity is quite good. For the price, it is all one could ask for.

  • I have a 1 ml sample gifted by a seller from the house. Barely tested, it brought me back memories of La Nuit de L’Homme by YSL. Conclusion: it shares middle and base notes, but the top notes are different. Today I decided to try it: I usually don’t apply fragrances to my skin because I feel it soils afterwards after showering, so I spray it on clothes. However, I applied a touch of the Homem Neo atomiser to my neck: I noticed it was complex, long-lasting, and very strong to the nose, yet again very much on the path of La Nuit. My recommendation: if you have the YSL one, use Homem Neo as a daily alternative and the other for nights out; or if you are out of the original, try it as the price difference is abyssal. I confirm for the nth time what someone told me when smelling something from Natura: ‘it doesn’t smell like it costs’. Moral of the story: you don’t need to spend a fortune to smell good. If you are looking for something in these times of empty pockets (here in Argentina), try this company because they give surprises, and good ones.

  • I have a 1ml gift sample. I barely tested it before it reminded me of La Nuit de L’Homme by YSL, so I compared them: conclusion is they share middle and base notes, but the top notes are different. Today I decided to try it properly: I’m not one to wear fragrances on my skin as I feel dirty afterwards, so I sprayed it on my clothes. However, I dabbed a touch on my neck: the truth is, it’s complex, long-lasting, very strong to the nose and very much on the path of La Nuit. My recommendation: if you own the YSL, use NEO as a daily alternative and save the other for nights out; or if you’ve run out of the original, give it a try—the price difference is abyssal. I confirm what someone told me: ‘it doesn’t smell like it costs’. The moral of the story: you don’t need to spend a fortune to smell good. In these times of empty pockets, try Natura, because they deliver some good surprises.

  • Tested with 1 ml samples. My first impression was that it reminded me of Alliance Tabaco Vainilla from Fragancias Canon (Argentina). Neo is of better quality, of course, but the vibe remains the same and it is not something I would like to wear. Do not buy blindly. 3/10.

  • Before drying, it is a rich aromatic woody; then it changes drastically to something balsamic with a honeyed floral touch, extremely unisex and unbearable. It reminds me too much of Amazona Magia, which I don’t like. Who says it resembles Verum? It has nothing to do with it; I own Verum and it is beautiful, herbal, and sweet; nothing resembles it.

Homem Neo by Natura is simply exceptional. A perfect blend of freshness and sophistication. Upon application, it explodes with citrus, spice, and herbal notes that fill you with energy. In the heart, there’s a note that reminds me of Lattafa Asad, but afterwards I sense a touch of tobacco.

  • A mainstream fragrance made to be liked; it suits a spring night well. Light to moderate projection and moderate longevity. Accustomed to the challenging fragrances from Natura in recent years, this one stands apart, yet it is still thoroughly enjoyable, just like everything from this Brazilian house. Cheers.

  • Very rich, clearly inspired by CH Man, it is a classic DNA. Balsamic, sugary, and woody, very well balanced and harmonious. Ideal for a romantic night or the office; it works best on cool nights (spring/autumn/winter). The balsamic/woody base gives it body, while the spicy notes elevate the details, all wrapped in a soft sugary base. The difference with CH Man is that it swaps the suede base for balms, which is why some associate it with Homem Dom (it can be overpowering). If you like seductive sweet perfumes or love CH Man, it is an interesting option, although it is a soft and moderate scent that conquers in close proximity.

  • It’s horrible. It doesn’t smell like CH Men or Armani Code as they claim. Recently Natura has launched ‘exquisite’ offerings and built hype around the brand with fragrances that are clearly not good. This is an example. Don’t buy blindly; I have a friend who doesn’t know who to sell what he bought blindly to, and I wouldn’t even dare keep it in my collection.

  • It’s a total disappointment; it doesn’t smell like either CH Men or Armani Code as they claim. Lately, Natura is launching products they call exquisite, but they’re failures. They’ve saturated the brand with hype when there are clearly bad perfumes out there. This is a clear example. Don’t buy blindly—I have a friend who doesn’t know what to gift it to because he bought it without knowing, and I wouldn’t even dare add it to my collection.

Natura’s Homem Neo is simply exceptional. It’s a perfect blend of freshness and sophistication. From the very first moment, you feel an explosion of citrus, spice and herbal notes that fill you with energy. In the heart phase there’s a note that reminds me of Asad by Lattafa, but a few minutes later I detect a tobacco note.

Very good fragrance, ideal for spring and autumn. Woody and spicy opening, but it dries down to amber and creamy thanks to the vanilla and tonka bean. Very rich if you like woody scents. For $20, it’s a bargain. Longevity 6h+, moderate trail, and projection for 3 to 4 hours. Recommended for those over 25.

  • FleurDuMale35

I love the opening: citrus with cardamom and a touch of talc. It then turns sweet with that suede-like cashmeran. It’s a solid, rich scent for daytime or dates, with good longevity on skin and moderate to low projection. Not beast mode and doesn’t smell like CH Men.

  • Nice perfume. It’s true the alcohol is noticeable at first, but then that lovely aroma blooms which has great appeal. I smell it as woody, spicy and balsamic/sweet. Ideal for fresh days and nights (it might be overwhelming in the heat). It lasts eight hours and projects well for the first two. I recommend it for the quality-price ratio, but try it first. Rating: 7.8/10.

  • What a lovely fragrance. While you can definitely smell the alcohol at first, it soon blooms into a very agreeable scent with great acceptance. I perceive it as woody, spiced and balsamic/sweet. Ideal for fresh days and nights (it can be overwhelming in the heat). Longevity of 8 hours with good projection for the first 2. I recommend it for the quality-to-price ratio, but do try it first. Rating: 7.8/10.

  • Gusjespindola

It’s my favourite from Natura. From the very first moment you can tell it’s a perfume with real punch, very citrusy and slightly spicy. That almondy presence is quite noticeable for the first 15 minutes. Then that sweet, amber and balsamic woody note opens up. Impressive. The dessert fruit is in the base: a creamy, musky little vanilla. It gives a sense of cleanliness and is rich yet delicate. For me it’s super versatile, suitable for any occasion. Bomb.

  • Hello, wow! I like it a lot. I haven’t used it much, but this for cold weather ufff, it’s brilliant.

  • Sebastiano74

I absolutely love this fragrance. I bought it blind and it didn’t impress me at first, but with wear it has become one of my favourites for autumn and spring. I’ve just picked up Turathi Blue and they look similar (though not identical). On my skin, Homem Neo lasts about eight hours, projects brilliantly, and even at seven hours there are still bursts of scent. What a proper perfume; I’ll definitely be buying it again.

  • I bought it recently after hesitating for a week while testing a decant. I decided on it because it seemed rich and interesting, with something that evokes sophistication, ideal for a special evening or something casual but well-presented. Although one might think it’s for formal occasions due to the elegance it conveys, I don’t see it for daily wear or as an all-rounder fragrance, but rather for specific moments. The opening is spicy and citrusy, then moves to a pleasant sensation, sweet but not cloying, with an amber appearance, which finally turns powdery, which is its predominant texture. It gives me the impression that the scent is very fleeting, but perhaps I need to get more familiar with it. I only bought the bottle because it was offered at a discounted value, not so much for its final local price; I think I’d buy it again if it came with a super offer, which is what I usually do with all fragrances. Smell good. Cheers.

  • ElLocoDeLosPerfumes

I’ve had it for a while but only recently paid attention to it. It’s super good for cloudy days, a very nice fragrance. During the transition from heart to base, there’s a very green mossy note, as if you were in the middle of a Patagonian forest full of lengas; it must be the vetiver and oakmoss listed. After 1-2 hours it settles close to the skin with an amber sweetness and a slight vanilla touch that persists for at least 6 hours.

  • ElLocoDeLosPerfumes

I’ve had it for a while but only just now paid proper attention. It’s super good for cloudy days, a very nice perfume. During the transition from heart to base, there’s a green mossy note, like being in the middle of a Patagonian forest full of lengas; it must be the vetiver and oakmoss. After an hour or two, it sits close to the skin with an amber sweetness and a slight vanilla hint that persists for at least six hours.

  • Now that I know it a little better, I realise its potential to generate charm and interest within its price range; it has what it takes to be appreciated and invites you to get to know it.

  • Gaston Elixir

A friendly scent with decent performance, although it lasts very little; of all the tributes, this is the one that performs the worst.

  • People take smelling things far too seriously and get it wrong; you shouldn’t hunt for a 99% clone, but rather look for similarities. Neo opens very spicy, with pink pepper on the surface and a woody base; the citrus is almost imperceptible, blending with cardamom to give a rough, dry touch. Then come resinous notes like myrrh but more woody, and as it dries, only the amber remains—nothing excessively sweet. It’s a ruder chypre, as if the chypre were the city slicker and this the guy living in a cabin without a tie. That gives it an oriental air, like rough Arabic perfumery but without overdoing it. It resembles Naxos but without the tobacco or sweetness, just the resinous side. It’s pleasant, not niche quality but it delivers, though if you use too much Natura the excess copaiba takes points off. Good work by the perfumers.
