Descripción

Ryo Chuva by Natura is an aromatic aquatic fragrance for men and women. This creation, launched in 2024, was designed by Verônica Kato, Yves Cassar and Natasha Côté. In its opening, the composition unfolds notes of river, rain and mandarin; the heart reveals violet leaf, sambac jasmine and rose; while the base settles on vetiver, musk, copaiba balsam and white birch.

Fresh and green, it perfectly captures the scent of a summer rain shower. Bought it blind and no regrets. Lasted 4-5 hours on the skin and a little longer on clothes.

  • At first, I thought of Nivea cream, but within seconds, the wild rain aroma exploded. I was fascinated by the rain accord with vital citrus notes of tangerine, green petitgrain, and the aquatic floral of pataqueira. It evolves into herbal, green, and earthy tones, like broken wet leaves. A shy floral heart with sambac jasmine, powdery iris, and violet adds delicacy. It’s fixed, resinous, clean, creamy musky, and soapy. Sometimes it smells of fresh coriander with lemon. SO FOR FOUGERE AND HERBAL LOVERS ONLY. It reminds me of Estoraque Bath Water, but more delicate and less woody than Frescor. Also comparable to Naturé’s Banho Da Chuva, but more elaborate and mature. Totally unisex, in the style of Ekos Maracuyá or Madeira em Flor. Ideal for spring-summer and for bathing with it. My favourite in the Ryo collection.

Fresh, green, it captures the summer rain feeling well. Excellent option for the heat; I bought it blind and have no regrets. Lasted 4-5 hours on the skin and a bit longer on clothes.

  • Outstanding

I tested this at Natura alongside Homem Elo, which smells good, but Ryo Chuva won me over with that fresh, summery, and herbal air. It reminded me of an old perfume I owned, I think Lacoste Essentiel, with that feeling of cut grass and a touch of soft rose. Medium projection, lasted over 7 hours on the skin, very well. It’s not original, but if you’re looking for something fresh for spring or summer, it’s worth it for the price. Cheers!

I tested it at Natura next to Homem Elo, which smells nice, but Ryo Chuva captivated me more with its fresh, summery, and herbal vibe. It reminded me of an old perfume in my collection, perhaps Lacoste Essentiel, with that sense of freshly cut grass or a soft rose note. Moderate projection and over 7 hours on the skin, very good. It’s not original, but if you’re looking for something fresh for spring or summer at this price, it’s worth it. Cheers.

  • At first impression, it reminded me of the traditional Nivea cream scent, but that aroma disappears in seconds to give way to a true explosion of wild rain scent. I was fascinated by how well the rain accord is achieved, accompanied by vital and soft citrus touches, characteristic of mandarin, along with the green petitgrain and the aquatic floral of Pataqueira. This fragrance evolves well: herbal, green, very green, and earthy, like wet leaves crushed between hands. A shy floral centre, from which the sambac jasmine and the powdery touch of iris stand out, plus the violet leaves, giving delicacy to all that green. It fixes very comfortably, slightly resinous, clean and creamy musky with soapy touches. At times, as if smelling a fresh coriander branch with lemon. SOLO SUITABLE FOR THOSE WHO ENJOY FOUGÈRES AND HERBALS. It reminds me of Estoraque, but not the Frescor, rather the Estoraque Àgua de Banho, because it has that vibe, though much more delicate and less woody than the Frescor. It’s also comparable to Naturé Banho Da Chuva, in a more refined and mature version. Totally unisex, in the style of Ekos Maracuyá or Ekos Madeira em Flor. To use in spring/summer and bathe completely in it. My favourite from the Ryo collection.

  • I expected something more with a herbal fragrance, I don’t know why, but I was surprised. At first, being more of a toilet water, you can feel the alcohol and need to let it evaporate a bit to feel the notes. The oils are clearly visible on the skin and, to my surprise, I found a similarity with Lattafa Atlas, as if it were a lighter, softer version, not so dense and without that stinging salt note that the other has. I don’t feel it aquatic in the sense of fresh water or rain, but more marine. Perhaps the heart notes give it more depth or the base woods, but without being intrusive, it’s not as fresh as one might think. I loved it anyway and plan to buy another for fear it will be discontinued, as Natura sometimes does with sustainable rainforest plants; I’ve seen other fragrances disappear from the catalogue and that’s why I’m stocking up. It’s completely unisex, although some might find it more masculine due to that undeclared salty note that comes out in me. Very innovative and original. As always, Natura never disappoints.

  • I think it’s a very conceptual aquatic fragrance and that didn’t appeal to me at first… over time, I’ve fallen in love with it. I believe if the natural aromas it evokes had more meaning in my personal history, I would want to evoke them more, but as a city person, a mossy and aquatic scent didn’t seem very charming at first. Now I love its concept; although it’s not a natural scent for me, I’m impressed by how it manages to evoke rainy landscapes full of flowers in the jungle. I don’t find it aromatic, but fresh and woody. It has a mossy wood, soaked in fresh water. I insist, it seems very conceptual in its composition, alluding to its Amazonian origin, but it’s not my style. Completely unisex, my boyfriend wears it particularly well after a shower. I think it’s a bit expensive for a catalogue item, but its presentation and composition are beautiful.

  • At first, I didn’t like it because it was too aquatic and conceptual, but over time it won me over. Perhaps if I had grown up in nature, I would have felt more connected to those mossy and puddle scents, but being city-based, I didn’t love it at the start. Now I’m fascinated by how it evokes rain landscapes and flowers in the jungle. It’s not natural for me, but it’s fresh and woody, like mossy wood soaked in fresh water. It’s conceptual, alluding to the Amazonian origin, but it’s not my style. Totally unisex; my boyfriend looks great in it after a shower. I think it’s pricey for a catalogue fragrance, but the presentation and composition are beautiful.

  • I didn’t like it at all; it smells like soap, but those old-fashioned kinds; it reminds me of my grandmother’s bathroom.

When I smelled the Natura Ryo collection, this fragrance was exactly what convinced me to buy the whole family line, but on skin, I think it’s the one I liked the least. The scent is wonderful BUT the rose note muddies a fragrance that is fresh, aquatic, and clean to my nose. The evocation of a humid, rainy jungle is lost with that rose. The performance seems correct. My wife liked it and said my negative perception was because it was for women, although I feel it’s unisex without leaning towards any gender (6/10).

  • The river and rain notes really caught my attention. The first time I smelled it, it seemed strange, as several commenters say, I sensed something marine, wet but very pleasant. It’s easy to wear and, as someone in the reviews said, I gradually fell in love; it’s very comforting. At work, someone started asking who was wearing that scent until it came to me and complimented me; I didn’t think they would feel it as I saw it as an intimate perfume. I’m truly delighted with Ryo Chuva.

  • The EsScential

This is a marvel! After getting tired of everything vanilla-based, I searched for my favourite notes and ruled out options based on price and stock. The surprise is that it smells a lot like the legendary Givenchy Insense, which is hardly known anymore. Fresh, green, the rain note dominates and is fantastic, reminiscent of a tropical storm. The tangerine lifts the profile to let the flowers and vetiver shine; as it dries, it becomes just slightly warmer, like rainforest bark drying in the sun after a shower. The trail is potent for this price and lasts almost 24 hours. Totally recommended.

This is a masterpiece!!! As I got tired of everything smelling of vanilla, I started looking for notes I like, then filtered by price and availability. The great surprise is that it smells a lot like the legendary Givenchy Insense, something few know anymore. Fresh, green, with the rain note being predominant and fantastic; it reminds me of tropical rain. The mandarin clears the nose to appreciate the flowers and vetiver; as it dries, it becomes just slightly warmer, like rainforest tree bark drying in the sun after a storm. The trail is potent for this price and lasts almost 24 hours. Totally recommended.

  • I had high hopes for this, but unfortunately, it smells like shaving lotion 😔. Nothing special; it has a fragrance scent you can find in any pharmacy or shop.

  • It’s okay but quite soft. In my case, it lasts longer on clothes than on skin. It’s a vibrant yet calm green. Mandarins with rain notes. It doesn’t strike me as memorable. It’s unisex, leaning more towards feminine. Simply put, it’s good for a sober woman.

Wow! I absolutely love it! I bought it blind and it was the best decision I’ve made. It smells fresh, watery, and green: like a riverbank after a summer rain; grass, wet earth, and tree trunks soaked in water. It brings me a lot of peace and nostalgia. I wish it lasted longer and left a stronger trail, but even so, I want to keep it in my collection forever.
