Natasha Côté

Born in Québec and raised in Toronto, Natasha Côté-Mouzannar grew up in a melting pot of cultures, surrounded by influences from Trinidad, Pakistan, India and Italy. Her childhood was filled with music, curiosity and an appreciation for the different people who visited her home. Raised in a bilingual family, Natasha attended a bilingual school and embraced her Francophone heritage. Her happy, straightforward education, as well as her distinction as the only Canadian perfumer, have contributed to her unique perspective on the world. Although no specific details are provided about Natasha’s education, her experiences growing up in a multicultural environment have undoubtedly shaped her approach to perfume creation. Her work has gone beyond geographic boundaries, as she has collaborated with various international brands, including Katy Perry, Mary Kay, Natura, O Boticário, Rihanna, Scents of Wood, Seven Skies and Vera Wang. Natasha’s inspirations are rooted in the richness of life itself, drawing from her interactions with people, conversations, travel, cooking and observing children’s boundless curiosity. However, she finds her greatest inspiration in the wisdom of older people, valuing the stories they share and the connections they forge. These life experiences and relationships have contributed to Natasha’s unique approach to creating perfumes. Natasha Côté-Mouzannar views perfume creation as a process of building moments, seeking cohesion and coherence in her fragrances. She searches for the perfect chord, where all the elements find their place while still standing out. Her perfumes embody her belief in celebrating individuality, contours and the unity of diverse parts. Among her popular perfumes, Natasha has created Mad Potion by Katy Perry, Natura Kriska Drama and Natura Kaiak Aero. Her creations reflect her multicultural education and the influences she has taken in throughout her life.
