Natura was born in São Paulo in 1969, when Luiz Seabra opened a small cosmetics company. In 1974 it adopted direct sales and built its growth around consultants. The relationship with the ingredients of the country's biodiversity is a key part of its offering.
Perfumery is part of a wider catalogue that includes body care, face, hair and make-up. Kaiak, created in 1996, became one of its most well-known fragrance lines. The brand also developed Ekos, a line that connects cosmetics and perfumery with ingredients from the Amazon. Natura also maintains brands and operations in several Latin American countries.
