Essencial Único by Natura

Complex woody perfume. No note particularly dominates although you can notice myrrh and amber. It has body. Somewhat thick, barely sweet. It doesn’t overpower. I don’t think anyone will say anything to you about the perfume because its projection is very low. But it’s nice for smelling it yourself. 100% masculine. Is it worth it? Yes but at a lower price. In Argentina Natura are expensive. For that price I prefer the dark as wood which is also more aromatic.

Exquisite perfume. It’s a spicy balsamic, it’s said to be woody. Perhaps so, but very faint. If you like niche perfumes and have smelt woody perfumes, here these molecules are very soft and light. Even so, it’s a warm scent for winter. Day and night it’s brilliant. On clothes it smells spectacular. I wear it on cold nights in my fluffy pyjamas and it gives me comfort and calm. Finally, its projection is faint and longevity the same. If you want a more powerful and longer-lasting spicy one you can choose ekos de alma. I give it 8/10. For me comparing these perfumes with Arabian ones is a serious mistake.

It smells of baked apples with cinnamon! Lovely but that’s it.

I tried this fragrance, I had read that it resembled Spicebomb EDT and honestly I wasn’t very confident, what a surprise, it’s very similar in all its facets, I loved it, the almost identical spicy opening from pepper and spices to the point of tingling your nose a bit and then comes that ambery woody and slightly sweet part. Very good performance, the only downside is that here in Mexico it costs almost the same as Spicebomb, if it were a bit cheaper it would be well worth it

Essencial Unico: I bought it at a very good price on Mercado Libre and had wanted to try it for years. The scent is exquisite and among my favourite perfumes for its vanilla, wood, and amber tones. However, at least on my skin it doesn’t project at all and evaporates in less than 1 hour, staying close to the skin. Of all the perfumes I own it’s the only one with which I have NOT received compliments, even though I’ve worn even second- or third-tier brands that made more of an impact than this one, a shame because I love it… if at least in Argentina it cost a little less, I’d wear it all the time, but it’s still too expensive to reapply constantly. The scent vaguely resembles Fan di Fendi, although the latter leans more towards leather when it dries down. I recommend it only for a one-on-one date, otherwise it doesn’t project at all and it’s like wearing nothing.

Very nice perfume, I see it as a tidier Essencial Oud in its notes, more formal and for year-round wear. Performance? The Oud lasts longer on me, but I forgive it because I like this one more.

I tried it and it lasted 1 hour on my wrist hahahaha, the Homem Elo lasted much longer on me, it literally ate it up

I bought this perfume with reservations because of the comments posted here by some who came before me. For me it’s a great fragrance: It smells like a mix of leather, woods and vetiver, but a dark vetiver, really dark. Very much a winter perfume. It’s not a niche scent or anything like that but it is really well made. Other complaints I read are about longevity, while it doesn’t project that much its longevity on skin at least on me goes beyond 8 hours. Recommendable Natura perfume. A must-buy if you find it on offer, at a lower price than usual. I bought it that way.

It’s rich, I haven’t tried the Neo or the Mirra so I thought it was very good. It’s not a powerhouse that is smelt metres away but you can smell it and it lasts quite a while… I tried it on myself and it smelt delicious and on my husband it sets deliciously and yes the woods remind me of E. OUD and also of Dolce & Gabbana’s VELVET AMBER SUN… very much so but the Dolce is a powerhouse haha 🙊😊🤭

Excellent fragrance. It has some facets that remind me of other Natura ones, especially the Neo. but at the same time it’s different, and I say this because in the dry-down it goes towards an animalic, labdanum amber, it’s not sweet… It’s AMBER with lots of labdanum. I agree that it is NOT a fragrance that projects, but that it does last its 6-8 hours. Ideal for cold weather.

Excellent fragrance, Brazilian niche perfumery. I disagree with some previous comments. It doesn’t smell like any other Essencial, and its quality is superior. They have achieved an artistic perfume. It comes across as balsamic, resinous, spicy, woody and a bit sweet. On me, tonka bean, copaiba, vetiver, saffron and Ishpink cinnamon notes dominate. It doesn’t project too much or feel that strong, a bit of performance has been sacrificed to obtain an ultra-refined, sophisticated fragrance of the highest quality. Bravo!

It’s a mix between Essencial Mirra and Oud, but with a sweet and clean touch. I perceive touches of musk, nutmeg and cinnamon (I guess the ishpink), plus amber and woods. It’s cosy, wintry but I didn’t like it, nothing new.

These scents are not to my liking, they remind me a lot of the warm/sweet perfumes worn by older women. When I smell it, it reminds me of my grandmothers or great-aunts.

I tried it with some expectation but it didn’t convince me as I’d hoped: it’s true that it shares common elements with the rest of the house’s men’s offerings, plus the notes aren’t easy to distinguish – which gives the feeling of going down the chemical laboratory route rather than the plants and their essences route. The base notes are common compared to many on the market, I don’t have information to say whether it’s this or that molecule, but you can tell it’s present and that it’s very common. I think what sets it apart are the earthy and herbal notes within a woody framework, in that sense it brings Natura Ekos Alma to mind, but in a devalued version. I’d say the latter is a better option for being complex, original and challenging. Otherwise, it’s very contemporary, with a hint of older gentleman. It doesn’t disappoint for those for whom sillage and longevity are important.

This is a review of a free sample they gave me at an official Natura store. The scent is very masculine, like ambery which is something I recognise from other perfumes I own and the scent seemed quite adult to me, with projection at first but I didn’t feel it was very powerful, at least on my skin. Also the scent makes me think of an older man but it’s not a bad smell at all. Look, I recommend it for a night out, hopefully in spring or autumn, maybe in winter but I think it lacks power (spray on clothes). That’s it, I’m not going to buy it.
