Essencial Oud by Natura

A colleague of mine wears this perfume. It’s a unisex, elegant and mysterious scent… It makes you want to go up to her and give her a hug, it has very good projection and longevity (at least on her). It’s not at all overpowering in the sense that you get tired of smelling it. Lovely fragrance and I’m happy to work next to my colleague.

What a perfume that at least on me works really well, it’s exquisite, whatever the time of year it brings out the notes according to body heat and the weather outside. The rose at the start is super strong, the pepper too, then it evolves to jasmine and finishes with patchouli and musk, at least on my skin it’s really exquisite, it’s a mysterious, elegant perfume with personality, not masculine at all in my opinion, it’s just not for women who wear sweet fruity scents. It’s one of my favourite perfumes along with Humor Química.

This perfume is everything YSL Libre didn’t know how and couldn’t achieve: depth, sophistication and true feminine authority.

A few things happened to me with this scent. At first, when I first discovered it, I couldn’t stand it. I found it too woody and strong on those who wore it. Plus it’s very easy to recognise on someone. When I was able to try it on my skin it gave me a headache, I had to wash it off straight away but even after having a shower I could still feel it on my arm. Still, I kept trying until I worked it out, and now I feel like I need to buy it, I don’t care if half the country wears it, for me it’s become addictive. A 25 ml bottle is enough for me, it’s a very powerful perfume and I feel it’s not for every day or every season.

I remember when I tried this perfume I didn’t like it that much, you clearly have to be a fan of unisex, and you have to really like woody and spicy. I like that it’s original, but it’s not for me

Last night at a family gathering I smelt a familiar perfume. I asked who was wearing Bharara King. They looked at me strangely. Until a cousin’s wife told me she was wearing Essencial Oud. The similarity to Bharara King is impressive

No exaggeration, it beats many designer ones. It has impressive quality for a catalogue fragrance. It’s intense, mysterious and unique. No one goes unnoticed wearing this Essencial. When you walk into a place, you make your presence known through its sillage and projection. It lasts for hours on skin and days on clothes. To be clear, you have to like woody, rather unisex perfumes, because I don’t think it’s a perfume to show a tender or feminine side, but rather your sexy, bold and empowered side. At least I find it attractive but not for, say, a romantic date. It can easily be worn at outdoor events in autumn or winter. Indoors, I advise limiting the number of sprays because it’s invasive and can bother others.

It has a strong smell, if you like very intense smells it’s for you, black pepper is present throughout the life of the perfume. To me it smells very strong and leaning masculine.

I found what I was looking for! After reading several reviews, I made my blind buy, really scared, since opinions were mixed. It’s love-hate. And for me it was love!!! From the very first instant! As soon as I applied it, it was love at first sniff. I’ve been buying several different ones looking for that special one, which you don’t always find. But here it is! It’s special, uncommon, intense, but without being overpowering. It makes me feel good. It’s sweetish, original, refined, what I wanted to feel on my skin. I would wear it every day, at any time and in any season. Thank you Natura! Much better than any imported perfume! I’ve already ordered the refill at an incredible price. I’m happy 😊

I love powerful fragrances and a friend told me ‘you have to try this one, you can smell it in the room for hours’. That was all I needed to rush and try it. It’s quite unusual, and I liked that. For me it’s 100% unisex. On my skin it lasted over 8 hours, and on clothes for days and days. On my skin it smells different from on the blotter. On the blotter (which I still have and still smells strong) I smell the wood much more and it turns more powdery. It even reminded me a little of Kenzo Jungle when after several hours you get the ‘rice pudding’ smell. But on my skin it became much sweeter and more feminine. Once dry I could only smell sweet roses, in fact it reminded me of Roses Vanille by Mancera (or its dupe Rose Gourmand by Zara). Does no one else notice this similarity? Because on my skin it ended up being EXACTLY THE SAME. And I checked and they share notes. Anyway, it’s strange. Not a blind buy. I loved it, but I think on skin it can change as in my case. Edit: I wore it today (in winter) and it is SO SPECTACULAR! This is niche level, folks! It keeps evolving over the hours. It feels as if I had just applied it (5 hours have passed). One super important clarification, it is not suitable for people who may be bothered by such strong scents. As soon as you apply it, don’t even think about eating in the next few minutes because literally you will only ‘eat’ perfume. Even more so if you spray it near your hands…

It’s very similar or quite similar, I’d say, to Avon’s FAR AWAY ROYALE and mind you I showered that Avon one with nothing but praise and reverence. It also goes very much in the style of Dior’s DIOR ADDICT, YSL’s NU, Rochas’ ABSOLU, DONNA KARAN’s BE DELICIOUS NIGHT, pure loveliness and beauty of scents that say “I am the absolute and sensual elegance bordering on the most carnal darkness”. You can feel a regal, powerful wood of oud and cedary sandalwood with that very powdery rose note splashed with patchouli that also opens with very resinous vanilla and amber, smoky like a medicinal ointment and a touch of mystical camphor. Beautiful scent that I got on offer and I’m going for more bottles of this delicious richness that left me fascinated and spellbound in absolute pleasure. It’s very unisex, very for winter days or cool summer nights just after rain… It also goes very much in the style of Versace’s OUD NOIR.

I bought it blind, I hadn’t tried it and I got carried away by the Tik Tok hype. It’s a complex perfume and I knew it would take me a while to work it out. It didn’t disappoint me, but it took me a while to BECOME FRIENDS with it. On my skin the wood and pepper came through very strong, I found it unisex leaning more masculine. I didn’t get the rose or the sweetness, nor does it last more than 5/6 hours on me. Over the days I learned to appreciate it and now I love it. I’ve worn it alone and also as layering with something sweeter. It complements a really sweet one perfectly and becomes much stronger this way. I would buy it again a hundred times

Such a great perfume, excellent for a catalogue perfume, I think it’s amazing, nothing to envy from a designer perfume. An overpowering scent, it fills spaces, seductive, dark, I loved it from start to finish, a powdery rose with power, it’s a scent that goes through several phases, all of them very enjoyable and distinct. For me, a delightful perfume to wear at night and on cold afternoons, ideally in autumn-winter, I’d dare to say that for me it’s the best Natura perfume. Very much in the style of Oud Bouquet by Lancôme. I always restock it, it’s an addictive perfume for me.

Excellent fragrance, this could easily be a niche fragrance, you can really feel that oud note, I find this perfume more unisex than anything, exquisite opening, in the dry-down you feel that oud wood with sweet notes, and something floral, excellent creation by Natura, very addictive to smell, I love it.

Essencial Oud for women is a voluptuous fragrance with an undeserved bad reputation; while it is a dense composition, it can appeal to many, in the right seasons and amounts. On me, it behaves totally feminine, fruity, balsamic and very sweet, yet it does not have a gourmand sweetness, but a resinous one; the only accord I find ‘difficult’ is at the start, when it feels slightly mentholated, camphorous, a smell associated as medicinal, but dried fruits, peach (which I even sense as crystallised), praline and the woody base are predominant, I don’t even find it that floral. It’s delicious and in cold seasons it is also appropriate and elegant. Projection is medium, and longevity is six hours or more. Who will like it: lovers of opulent fragrances.
