Essencial Sentir by Natura

To me, it smells more like soap or shampoo. It’s like those Natura soaps they sell you with the perfume, but with more intensity. The good thing about that is you’ll always smell freshly out of the shower. Decent projection, but I don’t see it as masculine as the votes here say. I’d say it’s close to being unisex

As similars I’ve had the Vibrant Leather from Zara, but this Natura version projects more and lasts a bit longer, fresh but works for every occasion, though it will only last you 2 to 4 hours, I find it strange that just like with the Essencial Supreme they list the main tone as woody when there are other odours that stand out, in this case it would be more citrusy and fresh than woody, it still smells young

Rich, very good opening but flat and boring dry-down. Plus extremely poor performance.

I’ve been testing a sample, the opening is very rich, a citrusy, clean and sexy explosion. As the hours pass it turns woody, it evokes a forest with damp moss. In this phase I find it too formal and mature for my taste, almost like a grandad.

Natura is the Carlos Sainz Jr. or Matías Fernández (football) of mid- and low-end perfumery: It has everything to shine, but always discontinues its best fragrances or launches others that make no sense at all. This one belongs in the second group, along with Homem Nos, Essencial Ato and Ryo Chuvá. At first it is very tolerable, it even becomes fresh, but it lacks that smoky pineapple that gives Aventus balance. The dry-down is bitter (I cannot distinguish the note) and has that very unpleasant note from Ryo Chuvá. Not for under-40s.

Natura indeed wants a slice of the Aventus DNA pie 5 years late. But well, better late than never, I suppose. Essencial Sentir leans in my opinion more towards bergamot and smokiness, which is why I agree it resembles Montblanc Explorer more than any other inspiration. Little more to say, it is an all-round average perfume and as there are other Aventus inspirations that do a better job than this Essencial, I consider it dispensable in my opinion.

The difference is that it is mainly a citrus opening that is not sharp at all, then drying down to a pronounced patchouli and what seems to be Iso E Super. After the citrus disappears, the fragrance is somewhat flat, but quite pleasant and does the job. At least on skin, it lasted 6 hrs on me with moderate sillage. If you don’t have a perfume with the Aventus DNA, this is a good option. Otherwise, it may feel somewhat repetitive.

I’ll be brief about this fragrance: Scent: Intense and citrusy, without knowing it I now have a perfume that seems to be a dupe of Creed’s Aventus or in turn, very similar to Club De Nuit Intense; that woody base keeps it in that ‘Essencial’ line from Natura. Longevity: It’s good, I just wore it this morning and the scent lasted on skin for about 6 hours. Projection: Moderate, nothing out of this world, if people get close to you they will notice it. Price: It’s somewhat above usual, this Natura line tends to be a bit high in price. Conclusion: A good fragrance, very citrusy and summery, of excellent quality, I immediately thought of perfumes like Creed’s Aventus, Montblanc Explorer or Armaf’s Club de Nuit. For the price you could go directly for Club de Nuit and spend a little less than for this Natura fragrance.

It was brought to me from Brazil a few months ago, and yes, as they comment there, it is Natura’s “aventus”, which the Kaiak Ultra never was nor feels like it, this one does resemble Aventus, Natura-style, it projects well and lasts well. The problem is that it arrives more than 5 years late to the market, who doesn’t already have one or more perfumes that smell like Aventus? That’s the key, if you already have scents like that it’s not worthwhile unless you’re a fanatic or collector, and if you don’t have anything Aventus-type or you need to restock, then it can be worthwhile. I paid U$S50 for it, but Natura prices in Argentina are super expensive and they no longer give coupons for the Essencial, so unless on offer it will come out at 80, so there are better alternatives like CDNI, supramecy not only, etc. So this perfume will be worthwhile depending on the price you get it for and if you don’t have anything similar in your collection, the ZARA VL costs more for example and lasts much less.

I don’t know what’s happening with this fragrance: I’ve sprayed more than six times and can’t smell it, yet with just two sprays, it’s noticeable constantly. Olfactory fatigue is evident. The scent is rich and I really like it. It has class.

The opening is rich, but once it dries down it becomes flat and boring. Furthermore, the performance is dreadful.
