A fine fragrance from the Brazilian house, nothing to envy from designer brands. Woody, dry, and synthetic yet pleasant; the clove note at the start is spectacular. Poor projection, but it lingers on the skin for a long time.
Of my 150 perfumes, this is an absolute gem; I just wish it had a little more projection.
Almost nothing to say: after two uses, I’ve noticed nothing, which is both strange and annoying. I bought it based on promising reviews, but on me it fades away. I only detect an initial acidic-citrus burst that passes quickly, leaving a very faint aroma, a kind of fresh green note reminiscent of Tommy, but like a superficial haze on the head, not even close to the skin; it seems to sit on the clothes. I applied a lot on my arms and torso, and the texture feels dry. Perhaps my skin doesn’t retain it well, but I’m not an expert and I could have been sold a fake or a diluted version. I purchased it from the O Boticário website. That’s all for now, and I doubt I’ll try it again.
Definitely, this Zaad fails to meet the expectations set by the positive reviews. It’s a very weak citrus fragrance, as if it’s struggling to be noticed, chasing a scent that barely registers and lingers there. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s so insubstantial it leaves me gaping in anticipation of more. My wife doesn’t approve either; although it doesn’t smell bad, it disappoints due to its sheer lack of presence. Not recommended: it’s a waste of money and time, with a quality that simply never materialises.
