Bought this blind, expecting a clone of Tresor la Nuit, but honestly, it’s not. Maybe it just has a distant resemblance. Something strange happened: when it arrived, I loved it—soft and needed reapplication—but now it doesn’t convince me as much. I wore it for a whole week; it projected well for the first hour and lasted about 3 or 4 hours on my skin. To be fair, most perfumes don’t last long on me, even strong imported ones. In January 2026, I paid 17,000 pesos on Mercado Libre, but you can get it from 12,000, and for that price, expecting more than 4 hours of longevity is madness. It feels sophisticated, sexy, and versatile, suitable for all day or going out at night; if you wear it to the club, better bring a travel spray to reapply. The question is why this happened: one day I applied quite a bit to my neck, arms, and clothes, and I sensed a totally different scent, like a neroli essence not listed in the notes. It’s not ugly, just different, and the only thing that changed was the weather: I wore it all week in the heat, and now I’m in a jumper due to the cold. Anyway, perhaps it’s olfactory fatigue. Either way, it’s worth it for the price and versatility.

Back with a new review of this beauty. I bought it again and grabbed two bottles taking advantage of the catalogue promo in Argentina. I dare say it’s one of the best perfumes from Avon; honestly, it’s the only one I have from this brand, and since it’s from the budget line, it’s well worth it. I don’t know many of their other lines and I think today they’re very expensive for what they are, but this one certainly deserves every cent. It’s a divine, boozy raspberry with that enveloping rose and a base of cocoa and sandalwood; you can notice the subtle leather touch. I wear it both day for the office and night, for any occasion. I even see it as a signature perfume for cold weather. I love it and highly recommend it. You need to like sweet and fruity aromas to enjoy it.

My first Avon purchase after Sweet Honesty in my teens. Thanks to a review praising this EDT, I was encouraged to order it, and honestly, it’s a gem; it matched my skin perfectly, had excellent performance, and flattered me.

  4. I must confess that at first I didn’t like it because I bought it in hot weather, however, now I’m testing it in autumn and I love it. It’s sweet, fruity, boozy, elegant, with presence, plus it lasts on clothes until you wash them. I’ve been complimented on it repeatedly, by girls and adults alike. Excellent perfume.

I’ve been wearing it for two weeks; the weather in Patagonia is still cool, today the minimum is 5°C. I apply almost 10 sprays, it envelops me, embraces me, it drives me mad. It’s so sweet, creamy, elegant. It opens fruity with cocoa (yes, I smell it from the start), a sweet liquor that doesn’t last long but I notice it too; the heart has a big, opulent rose with acidic raspberry. The base is what I enjoy most: sweet, creamy vanilla with cocoa butter (the rose never disappears), delicious. Incredibly, I didn’t realise it was an EDT until reading the box because the performance is unbelievable; it lasts all day. A total hit, I would definitely buy it again, it smells expensive and is from the catalogue. I don’t find any resemblance to Tresor la Nuit, it’s more like Luna Intenso but gourmand.

I highly recommend it! I must confess it exceeded my expectations as a catalogue fragrance. I loved the butter note that dominates on my skin along with the cocoa, it blew my mind! I also detect the alcoholic fruits, the liquor, and the leather; fused together they create a sensual gourmand blend that makes you want to eat it. A great hit from Avon, it is the only one from this brand I own and the best of my four catalogue perfumes. I use it in all seasons, but in summer with few sprays because the sweetness can be suffocating; in autumn and winter it is a delight that melts. Its longevity and trail impressed me: 4 hours on skin and another 2 with a lighter trail. Definitely, it is a low-cost fragrance with high-end quality. If you like edible-type gourmands, this is it!

I highly recommend this perfume. I must confess that for a catalogue fragrance, it exceeded my expectations. I loved its butter note, which predominates on my skin along with the cocoa, wow, it made my head spin in a good way; I also notice the boozy fruits, the liquor and the leather that fused together make a sensual gourmand blend that you want to eat. A great hit from Avon and it’s certainly the only perfume I have from this brand; in my collection I only have four from the catalogue and I must say it’s the best. I use it in all seasons, but worth mentioning that in summer with very few sprays because the sweetness can become suffocating, and in autumn-winter it’s lovely; with cold weather it’s a delight that melts. I also mention that its longevity and trail impressed me: it lasts on my skin around 4 hours and another 2 hours approximately with a lesser trail. Definitely recommended, it’s a low-cost option with high-end quality. If you like edible-type gourmands… this is it.

I’ve been using it lately on cool days and I love it. It’s a very sweet, boozy raspberry, the rose is there adding sensuality along with the leather touch, and the base is somewhat creamy due to the cocoa butter. It’s warm, sweet, sensual, enveloping, and has a beautiful trail. I’ve been complimented on it quite a lot. Its longevity requires reapplication every two or three hours as it is an eau de toilette. It’s true that it has a vibe similar to La Nuit Tresor, but Imari Corset I like more, as I feel more clarity in its notes; the other seems too cloying to me, and even though I love bomb scents, La Nuit has something that doesn’t quite work for me. Back to Imari, I recommend it without doubt. High-quality aroma at a very accessible price.

I felt it identical to Luna Intenso from Natura, it’s rich, but I couldn’t handle it, very intense, gives me a headache.

  10. Pepitawatson

I received Imari Corset today; I must say it reminds me a bit of Kriska Drama and Angel by Mugler, it gives me a headache, it’s a fragrance that smells like a face, yes, but for a super low-cost price it’s not my style, I hate head-turning perfumes. I recommend it more for an age range of 40 and up.

After reading the notes and seeing it even compared to Tresor la Nuit, I thought it was a good idea to buy it. And I don’t know if it was reformulated or my pH, but it’s barely perceptible. Obviously the aroma isn’t ugly, but I have to leave it for occasional use in spring/summer so the essence is a bit stronger and can be enjoyed. A pity.

Updated review after two years: I was pleasantly surprised and made it my favourite in the Imari line. It has everything a gourmand seeker wants without being overwhelming. It is ideal for winter, sweet, soft, and very persistent, just like Rouge (which I gifted because it is too strong and gives me a headache). I think they work very well on my skin, which is a blessing because usually this type of perfume does not last more than half an hour on me, and I am looking for something to wear daily without guilt. This did not disappoint; I loved it, it makes me feel comfortable, it is not expensive, and it is worth trying if you are looking for something sweet, elegant, and long-lasting. Avon continues to surprise; unfortunately, many people criticise catalogue perfumes and miss out on quality, fine, and accessible products. I recommend it; I have been repurchasing it several times and always keep a spare bottle.

Updated my review after two years: pleasantly surprised and it has become my absolute favourite in the Imari line. It has everything a gourmand seeks without being heavy. Ideal for winter, sweet, soft, with wonderful persistence, similar to Rouge (which I gifted as it felt too strong and overpowering on me). On my skin, it works perfectly, which is a blessing since usually these perfumes don’t last me more than half an hour, and I’m looking for something daily without guilt. This didn’t disappoint; I loved it. The opening is boozy, spicy yet soft, not sharp; the cocoa is delicate to avoid being cloying. Then a blend of rose and raspberry that lasts for hours, with an acceptable moderate sillage. Avon continues to surprise; it’s a pity so many people criticise their catalogue and miss the opportunity to try excellent, fine, and elegant quality at an accessible cost, something vital in Argentina. I recommend it especially: sweet, elegant, and long-lasting, I keep repurchasing it several times and always have a backup.

Sweet and delicious. According to Avon, the notes are sandalwood, leather, and cocoa butter, but in my experience, I only sense roses, liquor, and fruits; I can’t detect the cocoa. It’s like a cocktail of grape and red fruits with liquor. The price is fantastic and the longevity is medium to long-lasting, exceptional for an EDT. The Imari line has quality and varied options, from classic to casual. I recommend trying it, you won’t regret it and don’t underestimate it.

Imari Corset is a feminine perfume, pleasant and sweet without being intrusive, with the collection’s signature. It felt like a more subtle version of Natura’s Luna Absoluta, with lower performance. Among its siblings, it resembles Rouge but less overpowering and more fruity. The notes I perceive most are raspberry, cocoa, and sandalwood, none strident; it’s almost a blind buy because it’s sweet and slightly powdery. Being an affordable cologne, it lasts about three hours on me, it doesn’t project but is for personal enjoyment. Suitable for cold climates, casual wear, or work. Ideal for lovers of chocolatey perfumes.

A perfume well worth the money; I got it for 90 Mexican pesos. It’s a delight.

It has many of my favourite notes, a great choice! It is a liquorish raspberry with rose and a woody chocolate base. Totally winter-appropriate, do not even think about wearing it in the heat. Good longevity, high projection at first, then it stays for personal enjoyment; it lasted 5-6 hours on me, perfect for the ridiculous price.

It has many of my favourite notes and was a great success. A boozy raspberry with rose and a chocolatey woody base. Totally winter, don’t even think about it in hot climates. Good longevity, high projection at first which then settles into personal sillage; it lasted me a maximum of 5-6 hours, which is perfect for the laughable price it has. Delicious.

This is a very special perfume, it smells more expensive than it really is. It seems like something Natura came up with, handling a more expensive catalogue due to quality. It’s one of the first from Avon I’ve purchased and was a success, considering I bought it blind and on offer. However, I recommend smelling it before buying, as it is quite strong, like Natura’s Luna Intenso or Ilia Secreto, although it doesn’t resemble either. The box indicates leather, sandalwood, and chocolate, to which the official notes are added; it smells like all that mixed with chocolate, very gourmand, and perhaps that’s why I liked it so much.

Well… what to say… I have a decant of La Nuit Tresor and it seems to me they are practically identical, although Imari seems a bit softer, less deep, and clearly projects less. Yes, they are very similar, but I don’t notice it being synthetic at all.

Well, when I ordered this perfume I smelled the sample from the leaflet and it seemed a sexy and sparkling gourmand, like a sum of pink pepper and cocoa, so I ordered it without hesitation. Although it is known that on paper it differs from on skin, in this case it differs a lot. It’s not an unpleasant aroma (even it gives a sweet and clean sensation due to the rose), but it’s not what I expected and I notice it’s a synthetic chypre. I struggle to find the gourmand cocoa note. Regarding sillage and longevity, it hasn’t lasted me more than 2 hours. I would recommend it for the middle of the season, as I don’t know if it would be pleasant in summer and in winter it would get lost easily. I was disappointed because seeing its notes and sexy packaging, I thought it was in the style of classic XS and of the Imaris it was the one I would have liked the most.

What a delicious fragrance. On my skin, it requires careful spraying and leaves an excellent trail, at least in my case.
