Luna Absoluta by Natura is a floral chypre fragrance for women. Launched in 2020, this olfactive composition was created by perfumer Verônica Kato. Can anyone share their thoughts on this fragrance? 🥰
Natura presents Luna Absoluta as a flanker to its tall bottles, standing out for its dose of cocoa and black orchid. Although the orchid has appeared in Likes de Humor with a gourmand touch, here combined with cocoa and dry patchouli, it evokes Nero Assoluto by Cavalli or Play Intense by Givenchy. I expected something more carnal and mysterious, but it turns out sweet, floral, and woody, with a slight talc-like note (a 2 out of 5). It has depth and astringency from the cocoa, but lacks the body to be truly seductive. It is elegant for formal gatherings, ideal for daily or semi-formal use. I gifted it to my mum as it isn’t my style, but it suits her well. On my skin, the talc-like dry down reminded me of Decadence by Marc Jacobs and has a tiny acidic note like effervescent caramel that I usually don’t like, plus it doesn’t feel creamy. We’ll see how it goes for her.
An economical option to L’extase by Nina Ricci: sweet but not overpowering. Ideal for evening wear or cool and mild climates.

A floral and fruity fragrance with the sweetness of cocoa, woods, and a soft talc-like dry down. The patchouli links it to the Luna family, sharing that sensual vibe of Luna Intense. The red berries provide a balanced acidity that highlights the rose and a delicate orchid. It reminds me a bit of La Nuit Tresor and Absolutely Blooming, but the patchouli makes the difference. It lasts six and a half hours, with two hours of projection and moderate sillage.
I absolutely loved it! I was sceptical due to the notes, as I don’t like La Nuit Tresor or La Vie Est Belle, and I already own L’extase by Nina Ricci which I find delicious but very strong. However, upon trying it, my prejudices disappeared. Natura manages to make me adore scents I wouldn’t normally wear. I always feel clean with their sub-brands, whether perfumes, creams, or colognes.
I loved it! I was very sceptical because the notes and what it reminds me of aren’t my style. Neither La Nuit Tresor nor La Vie Est Belle are to my taste, and I have L’Extase by Nina which I use little because it’s strong but I find it delicious. But when I tried it, all my prejudices disappeared. Natura makes me love perfumes I wouldn’t normally wear. It has that brand touch that wraps you in scents; I always feel clean with any of their sub-brands, whether perfumes, creams, or colognes.
Of all the Lunas I own, this is the most different but also smells delicious. It’s inspired by Frida Kahlo, perhaps due to that cacao and orchid note, and so far it’s my favourite Luna. If it smells similar to La Vie Est Belle, Luna has a spicier touch with cacao, both sweet.
It’s a sweet, slightly chocolatey, floral, and vanilla perfume, very seductive and creamy, perfect for winter. Like almost all Natura perfumery, it seduces the nose, it’s attractive and addictive at a good price. It has presence without being intrusive, with 6 hours of longevity and moderate to high sillage. It’s of the same style as ‘Luna Intenso’, but without the acidity, which makes it a bit cloying. Solely for autumn and winter; ‘Luna Intenso’ seems more versatile to me for its sweet and acidic balance. It’s a beautiful perfume if you like very sweet aromas, similar to Adorisse Night by Jafra, Imari Corset by Avon (almost identical but softer), Love by Sofia Vergara, or La Vie Est Belle, but more seductive. Ideal for lovers of sweet and sensual perfumes.
I considered buying it blind because people said it’s like La Nuit de Tresor, which I do like, but on my skin it’s identical to La Vie Est Belle. I even took the bottle to my mother to compare on each arm, and there’s no noticeable difference. It could work as an affordable dupe, but if you don’t like La Vie Est Belle for personal use, it’s a resounding no. Luckily, I tested the sample first. Kisses.

I loved it at first spray, an exquisite raspberry aroma that I couldn’t stop smelling, but over time it felt a bit synthetic and didn’t fully convince me, without being unpleasant. On my skin, it lasts about 2 hours with appreciable sillage, requiring reapplication. I like it, but I don’t love it.
If you find La Nuit de Tresor too intense or suffocating, Luna Absoluta is its ‘lighter’ version. It smells very similar but with a softer trail; its maximum projection doesn’t reach beyond an outstretched arm and it’s not invasive. It lasts like an EDT, around 3 to 6 hours depending on the weather. Ideal for daytime or if you’re a Tresor La Nuit fan but can’t wear it at work due to its potency. Perfect for offices, hospitals, or banks.
If La Nuit Tresor seems too intense or stifling to you, Luna Absoluta is its ‘lighter’ version. It smells very similar but with a softer sillage; the maximum projection doesn’t go beyond an outstretched arm, it’s not invasive, and you can enjoy it without worrying about bothering others. The longevity is like an EDT, around 3 to 6 hours depending on the weather and skin. Ideal for daily wear or if you’re a Tresor fan but can’t use it at work because it’s too potent. Perfect for offices, hospitals, or banks.
Definitely for autumn and winter. The opening is fruity, I only detect the raspberry, but then patchouli dominates. As it dries, a moderate sweetness appears with a chocolate aroma and a mentholated touch from the patchouli. I don’t detect the flowers. It has good sillage and longevity, it’s elegant, not for everyday wear or the office. I don’t dislike it, but I didn’t love it either; when I finish it, I won’t buy it again.
The opening and evolution are exquisite, a mix of fruits, flowers, and cacao, but the dry-down disappoints; it ends up being something horrendous, dusty and resinous, like an old lady’s perfume. It smells just as bad on clothes. If it stayed like at the beginning, it would be spectacular.
Luna Absoluta brings to mind a rainy Sunday strolling around Frida Kahlo’s Blue House: hot chocolate in an orchid garden in Coyoacán, reading her diary to understand the Mexican and pre-Columbian essence. It smells of black orchids, sparkling jasmine with cashmere, and sweet dark chocolate in a pre-Columbian style. If Natura wanted to be inspired by Frida, they succeeded.

I have some samples and for me, it’s a perfect blend between La Nuit Tresor and La Vie Est Belle.
Beautiful fragrance!!! I agree with @Yasmin2015. On my skin it comes across as a blend of those two. The raspberry, chocolate, and patchouli really stand out. The longevity is beastly: it lasted 12 hours on my skin and projected for 5-6 hours. They say it lasts less. I acquired it via exchange. Perhaps it has been reformulated now.
Listen, girls aged 20 to 30, don’t buy it. It leaves a scent that feels like a lady’s perfume. I think it suits a woman aged 40 or 50 and above. It’s a lie that it smells like La Nuit Tresor; that one is sweeter and warmer, like a coffee shop, whereas Luna Absoluta smells dusty, like on clothes. The opening is lovely, refreshing with bergamot and sweet with pear, so it might work for autumn, spring, or cool summer days, but the heart notes of rose smell dry, like a cemetery, and the opening notes are bitter, like incense. No, very bad. A total disappointment; I bought it for the raspberry note, but it doesn’t pull that off at all. Nothing like La Nuit Tresor, which is delicious with its caramel; here there’s no standout sweetness, just a background touch, which doesn’t suit me because I love sweet perfumes; perhaps with vanilla it would be better. In the end, I’ll finish this EDP by giving it to someone who I hope will appreciate it more.
Let’s see… how do we start? Girls aged 20 to 30, DO NOT BUY IT. As people say below, it leaves a scent of a lady’s perfume. I think it suits a lady aged 40 or 50 and above. It’s a lie that it smells like Tresor La Nuit; that one is sweeter and warmer, like a café, whereas Luna Absoluta leaves a powdery scent on clothes. The opening is rich, refreshing due to the bergamot and sweet from the pear, so perhaps it’s suitable for autumn, spring, and the cooler days of summer, but the heart roses smell dry, like cemetery roses, and the base notes are bitter, like incense. No, no, no, very bad. A total disappointment, I bought it for the raspberry but it fails to rescue that note throughout the perfume. Nothing like Tresor La Nuit, which smells delicious and you can feel the caramel, but here there’s no standout sweet note, only a very subtle background touch, which doesn’t work for me because I love sweet perfumes. Maybe it would be better with vanilla. In the end, I’ll end up gifting this EDP to someone who I hope values it more.
I’m 22 and I’m fed up reading reviews from ladies aged 40 and 50, old, mature, elderly because they haven’t been put in a home, who didn’t understand anything about perfumes or that we also grow up and fragrances DO NOT HAVE AN AGE. REALITY SOMETIMES MAKES ME SHAMEFUL TO BELONG TO THIS GENERATION THAT ACTS LIBERAL ABOUT MTB BUT NOT ABOUT AGES. PERFUMES FOR EVERYONE AND IF YOU WANT TO WEAR BABY COLONIA AND YOU’RE 100, I GIVE YOU THE RIGHT.
I have it alongside Luna Valentia. At first they are almost identical, but their developments are different. Here you can feel the raspberry and patchouli blend, which I liked a lot. Watch out, I’m not a huge patchouli fan, but I can handle it in this perfume. I’d define it as feminine and romantic, whereas Luna Valentia goes another way: more fruity, youthful and informal. Is it a rich aroma? Yes, it is. I liked it, but I wouldn’t repurchase. I think there are already many similar options on the market. It was a perfume that passed without glory or shame.
I own both this and Luna Valentia. When I first wore them, they were almost identical, but they evolve differently. Here, the raspberry and patchouli stand out, which I liked a lot; although I’m not a huge fan of patchouli, it works well here. It’s feminine and romantic, whereas Valentia is fruity, cheerful, and informal. It’s a rich scent, but I wouldn’t repurchase it as there are many similar options on the market. It passed without making much of an impression.
I love the scent but it doesn’t last at all, maybe two hours at most. What a shame.
I have it; it is certainly Tresor La Nuit style, but MUCH more wearable. Personally, I dislike any Tresor La Nuit… and I like this one but not enough to adore it. The patchouli is very noticeable, giving it a chocolatey and earthy vibe at the same time. It’s sweet but not cloying, with a spicy or sparkly touch, perhaps from the pear or raspberry. Good longevity and projection, about 6 to 8 hours; towards the end it sits heavily on the skin or clothes. I like it, but I’m not sure if I’ll repurchase when it runs out. An excellent option for those who don’t want to spend on Tresor La Nuit and smell better instead, haha.
I own both Tresor La Nuit and Luna Absoluta, and they are seriously similar. Both are warm, sweet but not cloying, vanillaised and long-lasting. I admit Luna lasts longer, though it feels a bit rougher. In my opinion, if you have one, the other is unnecessary. I really like both.
Sweet and blended fragrance. Elegant and clean, perfect for a summer evening. You can detect the raspberry, pear, and florals, with a soft touch of patchouli. I love it, highly recommend.
Didn’t work for me, mate. I’m going for something petit. If anyone wants it, my IG is aristoloki. Smelled like incense to me. They say it’s similar to La Vie Est Belle, maybe that’s why I didn’t like it. What a pity.
Not my cup of tea, mate. I’m looking for something petisuis. If anyone’s interested, my IG is aristoloki. It smelled like incense to me. People say it’s similar to La Vie Est Belle, which might be why it didn’t work for me. What a pity.
Didn’t like it. At 52, this scent makes me smell like a granny.
I didn’t like it. I’m 52 years old, and this perfume makes me look even older.
