Do you like oud-floral? Read on… 💐 Jabir is exotic. It opens with rose, freesia, violet, lily and peony (the latter very noticeable), accompanied by a dirty (skanky) oud, not for beginners. The oud isn’t woody and the rose doesn’t dominate. Good performance, unisex-masculine. It’s versatile if you master oud, which is a difficult note. With experience, it loses impact. I find it wearable, but restrict its use to enclosed spaces like buses or planes to avoid annoying others. 💡 It smells very much like Xerjoff’s Indochine; they share peony, lily of the valley, oud and vanilla. Indochine is fruity-jammy, Jabir is floral-dirty oud. They’re different but can coexist. Ideal for those who don’t want the typical oud-rose combo and are looking for flowers with oud. One of the best from Kemi 5/5 ✨
Jabir has 60% floral and 40% dirty oud, without crossing the line. I love the quality: the best freesias, peonies and roses I’ve ever smelled, and Kemi’s oud is always top notch. It’s less feminine than I expected, totally unisex, not a white bouquet or just peony, but an oriental arrangement without spices, with balanced oud that gives body and power. Carbonell feels right at home here. It doesn’t evolve or innovate much; it’s a rich floral-oud with just the right doses. The best thing is that it goes unnoticed at home, but on the street you get bursts that make you feel good. The only flaw is the price of €64; it’s a pleasant floral-oud with good projection, but without great surprises. Scent: 7.9, Longevity: 8.2, Projection: 8, Emotional: Yes, Originality: 7, Recommended: Low.

One of the best from Kemi. It’s an oud with a urea note, neither woody nor smoky, but animalistic without going too far, thanks to the flowers. Freesia and peony dominate. It’s very versatile, suitable for any season or setting if you don’t over-spray. Although it smells of urea, it’s not unpleasant; in the air it’s exquisite. Normal performance, doesn’t project much but lasts hours on the skin.

For the first time, infinite longevity and a kilometre-long trail are a problem. Jabir by Xerjoff smells of something putrid that won’t go away; to me, it reminds me of Chingüé urine, not just on skin but dry too. It’s a scent that makes you cry when accumulated in a dirty place. It’s not for men, women, or unisex. I would never smell this again.
First time that infinite longevity and a kilometre-long trail are a problem. Xerjoff’s Jabir smells of something fetid that won’t go away; it reminds me of Chingües’ urine, not just on the skin but in dry-down. It’s a smell that makes you cry, accumulated in a dirty place. Not for men, not for women, not unisex. I would never smell this again.
The best floral-oud blend I’ve tried, but beware: if you have a sensitive nose or very strict tastes, it’s better to leave it on the shelf.
