  • Lolo de locksley

A luxury perfume that kicks off with potent bergamot, leaving eucalyptus in the background. Reminds me of chamomile with honey; it has incredible longevity and a very good trail. I recommend it to those seeking strong fragrances.

Exquisite perfume. Opens with potent bergamot, with eucalyptus noticeable in the background. Reminds me of chamomile with honey; a fragrance with impressive longevity and a very good trail. I recommend it to lovers of strong scents.

  • A joke (it’s not Amore!). The opening features rose, but it gets lost beneath the vanilla and heavy woody oud. On top of that sweetness, there’s a heavy note of eucalyptus that makes it feel odd. There’s lots of contrast; an unusual vanilla-eucalyptus combo with dry oud and some patchouli. In my view, this is the worst of Kemi; some may like it, but the sales don’t add up. I’ve seen partials online and they don’t sell easily. I agree with English-speaking users: the eucalyptus doesn’t fit. I appreciate the difficult and the original, but this feels laboured and without harmony. It reminds me of Soleil de Jedah by SHL, though I prefer the latter. It’s like saying: ‘I’m going to make a perfume with a banana accord, earthy patchouli, caramel and anise’. Will it work? I’ve dedicated months to understanding Aqua Regia to get to know it and perhaps develop a tolerance, not because of its price or brand (already discontinued to be sold in ‘Uncle Momo’ bottles), but every time I smell it, my rejection is the same.

  • A joke (it’s not Amore!). The opening has rose, but it’s crushed by vanilla and heavy woody oud. On top of that sweetness, eucalyptus! (where the problem begins). A strange sensation and smell. Lots of contrast; an unusual vanilla-eucalyptus combo with dry oud and a touch of patchouli. In my opinion, this is the worst of Kemi; some may like it, but sales don’t support it. I’ve seen partials online and they don’t sell easily. I agree with English-speaking users: the eucalyptus is out of place. My taste is broad and it’s rare I dislike something; I appreciate the different and the difficult, but this feels laboured, lacking harmony, and not truly original. It vibrates similarly to Soleil de Jedah by SHL, though I prefer the latter. It’s like saying: ‘I’m going to create a perfume with a banana accord, earthy patchouli, a caramel base with anise’. It will be original, but will it work? I’ve dedicated months to understanding Aqua Regia not because of its price or brand (already discontinued to be sold in ‘Uncle Momo’ bottles), but to discover it and perhaps develop a taste or tolerance for it; yet every time I smell it, my rejection remains the same.
