The sample just arrived today and my goodness, it’s practically identical to the vintage One Man Show by Jacques Bogart; I’m speechless. In the Bogart, the pine needles dominate, but here in Raffaello it’s the Artemisia (Absinthe) that shines through—a resinous green tone, slightly sweet, with deep citrus nuances. It seems very long-lasting and, while it doesn’t quite match the projection of One Man Show, its trail is very noticeable for the first few hours. It’s an all-rounder scent, a signature for well-established personalities who know their objective and want to move confidently in their element with things clear. It has a caramelised, soapy, and patchouli halo; indescribable but essential if it arrives at the right moment.
