Smells like roasted peppers, just like Rasasi’s Shuhrah Pour Homme.

It is almost identical to Rasasi’s Shuhrah Pour Homme; I own both, but if I had to choose, I would stick with Shuhrah. Perhaps it is not worth having both given such a huge similarity, although knowing that, I still bought it.

Very much in the Shura line from Rasasi, pleasant and different. Very masculine.

Huberta is a perfume completely distinct from everything I have heard before. It smells to me of flowers and wood, with a soapy touch and something powdery. It is true that it is not an easy scent, but at first it seems interesting and addictive to me. It is there that it can seem somewhat feminine, although as a whole it is totally unisex. As it develops, it becomes more woody and the oud takes centre stage; moreover, it smells very much of petrol. From that point on, I do not like it and it becomes heavy. I wish it would stay in the initial phase. It has moderate-to-high sillage and lasts at least 9 hours on my skin. It cost me a lot to hold myself back to gather this data; it probably lasts longer, but I decided to take it off. Scent 2/10, Longevity 9.5/10, Sillage 8.5/10, Value for money 9/10, Versatility 3/10, Packaging 5/10. Would I buy it again? No; luckily a friend passed me a decant, which spared me from a blind purchase failure.

Here I bring you another perfume from Kelsey Berwin, none other than my favourite from this house so far. I will not lie to you, I have been trying to write this review for over a month, but it is a perfume so complex, deep and with innumerable nuances that every time I wore it I felt overwhelmed and ruined the writing. But as there is always a time for everything, one day I wore it and to my surprise I finally understood it, it flowed with me and I felt comfortable writing it while being wrapped in its warm and special aroma. People say it smells of flowers, oud, that the rose is very noticeable, etc… It is much more convoluted than that, but well, if you limit yourself to grabbing the notes with the most buttons, that is the result. For me the opening is overwhelming, supremely woody, very smoky and leathery. It is loaded with Guaiacol (the molecule of Guaiac wood); this is the only thing noticeable in the first few minutes. Over time it opens up and floral nuances appear where the rose predominates, a more friendly and less rough woody sensation, but always under the yoke of Guaiacol. It is a difficult perfume and not for everyone, in addition, it boasts Herculean times that turn it into a bomb of longevity, sillage and projection. Totally unisex if you appreciate smoky and robust aromas; in my case it has been an acquired taste, so do not worry yourselves if you do not like it at first, give it time. Regarding the matter of looking at the notes, do not misunderstand me, I also look for notes, but one must not base oneself solely on that; one has to research, cross-reference, but even more importantly, try it, wear it and thus come to understand it. Huberta is a fierce little beast that’s hard to tame. Its opening is loud, wild, intense, and metallic, like crushing a bunch of red, white, and pink flowers. The talc-dusted freesia and lily of the valley stand out, giving a sweet and bitter character. It evolves into a dusty tone, like a sachet of chamomile, maintaining that sharp, metallic touch with a hint of medicinal oud and a creamy sandalwood. It’s a formal scent, perfect for the office in cold weather, elegant, and confidence-inspiring. Excellent longevity, powerful sillage, and a strong presence. An affordable niche with exceptional value for money.

Very rich, it reminds me a lot of Rasasi’s Shuhrah, same aromatic DNA but in this case softer. Elegant, “luxurious” and different, potent; for winter it could be magnificent. For the price, it is very worth trying this juice which distances itself much from the mainstream. For over 25-30 year olds and men with personality, not gregarious. Classy with style.

A smoky, oriental floral by Kelsey Berwin, reminiscent of Dinar or Shuhrah by Rasasi but with more florals and a subtle oud. Ideal for dipping your toes into this world with incredible prices. A blend of wood, smoke, balsam, and flowers envelops you from the first spray, with an effervescent soapy touch that recalls Sergio Soldano White d’Antan. Huberta is original and creates a mysterious, charismatic aura.

A floral woody fragrance that has seduced me. I bought it blind for the freesia, my favourite flower and one that’s hard to find in men’s perfumery; every time I wear it, I fall for it more. It smells of woods and flowers with patchouli: strong, intense, different, elegant, and exquisite. The little sweet note of the freesia is the best. At 20 euros, it’s a 10 for scent and value for money.
