The quality of this house is undeniable, and here we have a scent far superior to its price, with a very marked Arab touch. It’s an oriental with leather, woods, and exquisite fruity notes. Although it has an Arab essence, the execution is perfect for the West, nothing difficult to wear. The fruits are exquisite and tame the leather and woods very well, making it super wearable. It reminds me of the opening of Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather, but with much more fruit, especially apricot, which sweetens and softens the leather, creating something sweeter and more versatile. It starts with a ripe, juicy peach with a spicy touch. Then the fruit recedes and mixes with the lavender, giving an aromatic, soapy, and slightly fruity scent, where the leather background is noticeable. After that, the leather and apricot rise in prominence, offering a beautiful and very fruity mix. This is where it most resembles the opening of TL, but here the leather is more docile and the fruit more present, sweeter. If you know the opening of TL, you have an idea, although here there are talc-like nuances from Orris root that TL doesn’t have. Then the woods and musk enter, leaving a leather trail, giving a woody base, a bit smoky, dirty, and animalic, where the last echoes of the fruit are enjoyed. I’ve absolutely loved it; it’s unisex but with a slight masculine inclination. Performance is excellent, over 9 hours on skin, intense projection at first then moderate. Nothing to object to. Ideal for fresh and temperate climates, usable in winter, autumn, and spring, especially at night, though I also want to wear it by day, adding warmth to cold mornings or sweetness to fresh afternoons. Ridiculous price for the quality and performance, highly recommended for those seeking sweet orientals with leather, woods, and fruit.
The quality of this house is undeniable, and here we have a perfume far superior to its price, with a distinct Arab touch. It’s an oriental with leather, woods, and exquisite fruity notes. Despite its Arab essence, the execution doesn’t clash in the West; it’s easy to appreciate and wear. Its fruits are exquisite and tame the leather and woods well, making it extremely wearable. It reminds me of the opening of Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather, but with a superior fruity charge where the apricot is very present, sweetening it and reducing the rawness of the leather. The opening is a ripe, juicy peach with a spicy touch. Soon, that note fades and blends with the lavender, creating an aromatic, soapy, and slightly fruity scent, with hints of leather in the background. Then, the leather and apricot rise in prominence: a beautiful mix of fruity leather. This is where it resembles the opening of TL, but the leather is more docile and the fruity charge greater, feeling much sweeter. It has subtle talc-like nuances from Orris root, which TL lacks. Then come the woods and musk, offering a woody base, slightly smoky and animalic, where the last echoes of ripe fruit linger. I’ve loved it; it’s unisex but leans masculine. Taking advantage of a trip to the peninsula, I bought several perfumes online, including this Imperial Arabia. The quality is undeniable; it’s incredible how Saudi and Emirati brands make fragrances like this at low prices (€18/100ml). The scent is very pleasant. It is true that it’s a bit classic, following the leather, fruit, and oud line like Tuscan Leather. The difference here is the peach, which softens more than the raspberry and makes it more subtle. As it dries down, it loses intensity but becomes sweeter. I see it as a night scent, though in the cold it could be for day. For me, it’s unisex, though the strength of the leather makes it feel more masculine. Scent: 8, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 7, Value: 10, Versatility: 6, Originality: 6, Overall: 8.5
I picked up some small perfumes in the peninsula, including this Imperial Arabia. The quality is undeniable; it’s incredible how Eastern brands produce fragrances like this at such low prices (€18 for 100ml). The scent is very pleasant, though I admit it’s a bit cliché: leather, fruit, and oud. Several follow this line, like the famous Tuscan Leather. Spectacular; I love Swiss Arabian, they get almost everything right… Imperial is almost a twin to Kelsey Berwin’s Huberta, but SA adds apricot making it fruitier, whereas Huberta has more pepper and a similar opening. When dry down hits, the differences become clearer: Imperial turns creamy, sweet, and vanilla-like. I also find it more feminine, though both are masculine scents. A great purchase, save for the bottle which looks cheap and the plastic cap that’s terribly poor quality and doesn’t close well. I plan to repurchase and use it a lot. Rating: 8.
Back to the drawing board; after two hours, it’s completely gone from my skin. Bad luck.
After testing it over several days, the performance is average: weak trail and poor longevity, it stays close to the skin and needs reapplication after two hours. It smells lovely, similar to Huberta with a cherry note, but it fades very quickly. Better to buy Kelsey Berwin’s Huberta. That’s why I’m dropping the rating to a 7.
I’m absolutely smitten. It opens fruity with apricot and leather, then shifts to wood via the oud, finishing muskily. It’s another brilliantly executed fruity leather combo like Tuscan Leather, with a smoky touch that lasts forever. The trail is potent. Perfect for autumn, winter, and evening. Thanks to Josesan.
It suits me well. It opens with a stone fruit and leather that yields to a woody heart via the oud, closing on musk. It’s a fruity leather combo similar to Tuscan Leather, very well executed, with a smoky touch and great longevity. Ideal for autumn/winter and evening. The trail is potent.
