It’s a bold, complex fragrance with that leather accord that smells almost of excrement, similar to Aoud Cuir Arabie. It might also share similarities with Dior’s Leather Oud, though I haven’t tried that one, but I do detect echoes of Oud Ispahan. The good thing is it has more nuances and that hint of sweetness makes it more wearable, but if you can’t handle heavy woody and leather notes, this isn’t for you 🙂
Hello, I’ve just tried Oud Al Ghutra and it is an absolute treat. While it isn’t particularly versatile, it is one of the best I’ve tried from the house, surpassing Shaghf Oud Abyad, which is saying something! Its performance is far superior to designer fragrances and resinous oud or leather scents like Atelier Leather or Dior Leather Oud, all for a tenth of the price. The packaging is also excellent. In terms of price, presentation and quality, I believe this is the most premium line from Swiss Arabian. My ten.
