What a proper blast from Spain. An impressive discovery thanks to my ruin, DarkBeat. Original, Oriental, sweet, long-lasting, and spiced: a bomb. The metal bottle weighs a lot; I think they make it like hotel keys so you don’t take it away, as a few sprays last all day. It’s intoxicating.
This perfume is an absolute triumph of incredible quality, featuring an intense Arabesque scent, excellent longevity, and extraordinary projection. The only downside is that it’s only available in 50ml bottles of this exotic concoction; it’s a shame because I’d buy litres, but the price is unbeatable and ridiculously good value for what it offers. The official notes differ from Fragrantica: there’s no amber, musk, or sandalwood; perhaps the amber is mistaken for labdanum. Top: oud. Heart: frankincense, caraway, and saffron. Base: labdanum, leather, and tobacco. The bottle is a masterpiece. It opens with resinous, sweet frankincense over a woody oud base. Then it becomes effervescent and spicy, with saffron and caraway, peppery and dirty yet pleasant. It sweetens balsamically with labdanum, balancing the leather and oud spectacularly. A subtle tobacco note emerges, highlighting the leather mixed with oud and spicy sweetness, a wonder. As it dries down, the leather recedes and the tobacco becomes more noticeable, embraced by leather and oud, with spicy frankincense and sweet labdanum, mind-blowing without needing to envy niche or designer perfumes. It’s complex and evolving, hard to pin down a pattern, very interesting in the first hour before calming down. The performance is lethal: it lasted over 10 hours, and by the morning, a halo was still detectable. Projection is very good, intense for two hours before settling but remaining present. Exceptional performance. Not for everyone, suitable for personal or formal wear, in cold or temperate climates, best for evening, though exceptional on fresh days. I loved it! Intense, long-lasting, and projects like a beast, at a ridiculous price. The bottle is awesome, with a hard, cold metallic feel, worth it just for that. If you enjoy woody, intense, incense-heavy, rough leather, and spicy scents with just the right touch of sweetness, you can’t miss trying it. Forget the westernised stuff and open your mind to the East.
What a proper Spanish bomb. An impressive discovery thanks to my ruin, DarkBeat. Original, oriental, sweet, long-lasting, and spicy: a real bomb. The metallic bottle weighs a lot; I think they make it heavy like hotel keys so you don’t take it away, as just a few sprays last all day. Intoxicating.
A delicious and intoxicating perfume, really well made and of high quality, different from what I’m used to. I’m not sure if it’s just my impression, but I perceive something smoky. The longevity is good and it evolves beautifully on the skin; the wrists and neck are constantly being sought out. Thanks, Darkbeat.

I disagree with my fellow reviewers; I find this perfume quite bad. Everything smells synthetic and it’s noticeable. The opening is extremely sweet and cloying; it dries down better if you don’t stay right next to your nose. I let myself be swayed by the reviews and bought blind, a big mistake, though there were no samples available. I know oud well, and I can assure you there is nothing real here; it’s as synthetic as it gets. I feel like the discordant note after wonderful reviews, but I offer another perspective. This isn’t the first Swiss Arabian I’ve tried, and they are always synthetic. If you want quality oudh and mukhallats at high prices, head to Ensar Oud or Taha de Agaraura; their samples are accessible.
I refuse to join the choir because this perfume is a complete failure. It smells entirely synthetic, which is immediately noticeable. The opening is cloyingly sweet and overwhelming, though it lingers slightly as it dries, provided you don’t stick your nose right into that sugary blast. I was fooled by the reviews and bought it blindly, a huge mistake on my part, but there was no way to request a sample. I know oud well; I’ve worked with pure oils and mukhallats, and I can assure you this contains absolutely no real oud; if there is anything resembling it, it’s pure synthetic. I regret being the discordant note after so many praises, but it’s good to offer another perspective so you can see the full picture before buying. This isn’t the first time I’ve tried Swiss Arabian, and it’s always the same: 100% synthetic. If you want quality oud and mukhallats, even if they are expensive, go for Ensar Oud or Taha by Agaraura; their 0.2 ml samples are very accessible.
It’s been a while since I’ve only bought occasional designer, vintage, or Middle Eastern perfumes due to the lack of originality and performance in others. Nawaf from Swiss Arabian proves that Oriental perfumery rarely fails. DarkBeat sent me the sample. It’s an excellent perfume in every way. It starts warm, overwhelming, and dusty, gradually balancing out. It features woody, leather, animalic notes, and an amber based on labdanum that gives it a very integrated vegetal varnish. It’s opulent, meaty, and will appeal to fans of Bentley Intense, 24 Hours Gold, or Armaf Niche Oud. It lacks that typical medicinal tone found in Orientals and crosses European barriers effortlessly. The performance is sublime, with projection and an endless duration. Forget Dior and dive into this honest, enthusiastic world.
I absolutely love this perfume. The base, with its perfectly balanced tobacco and leather, is incredible. The oud dominates the opening with elegance before settling into a subtle note over that base. I don’t detect the saffron, but the incense adds immense depth and character, leaving a lasting scent on clothes for hours. If you dislike incense or oud, it might not be for you, but I recommend it: it’s well-made, has real personality, and the bottle is gorgeous.
