Don’t kill the messenger, it just arrived and smells like Natura Essentiel Oud (the blue one) but with steroids; it blends perfectly with my skin and I’ve been wearing it for over 24 hours.
Just one thing: wear it on a summer night, and you’ll be obsessed.
At first, it’s a potent, refined oud with saffron and pepper. The pepper vanishes in seconds, giving way to a very subtle rose. After ten minutes, the praline emerges and it’s spectacular. It doesn’t change much but continues to develop; the vanilla mixes with the praline, adding a sexy touch. With more oud than the original, it’s more masculine. It lasts over 10 hours; with four sprays it’s moderate projection, while seven or eight are heavy. Ideal for cold weather and formal events.
A delight for the nose. It fills the room with a woody vanilla scent, strong at first but sweetening over time. It’s elegant, perfect for special occasions, dates, celebrations, or birthdays. It suits gentlemen aged 30 and above, seducers who want to stand out without being annoying. I’d give it 9/10.
Honestly, it’s very good; if you get it for £40, it’s worth it. It has praline, vanilla, oud, and I can taste the cocoa… I like it, it’s elegant, gourmand, and quite unisex. A woman wearing this to a formal dinner will make guests lose track of the conversation. But honestly, it’s not crazy; in my opinion, it wouldn’t make a Top 10.
