Layla smells like a palm tree🌴 and opens with that typical Xerjoff sweet base (amber, vanilla and synthetic musk) with fruity candy-like touches and some ylang-ylang. It’s not gourmand, but rather floral-oriental. The longevity is modest, unisex but with a slight feminine leaning. It’s easy to wear, but the most boring of the entire Kemi line. A bland, forgettable perfume that doesn’t deserve to exist. Any cheaper option beats it in personality. It reminds me of Mancera. Kemi used to be exotic and high-quality, but Layla doesn’t fit. It passed without glory or shame. No thanks 👎🏻
