With Oud Voyager, Tom Ford proves he can still surprise. This launch is undoubtedly a redemption for the house, particularly in one of its traditionally weak areas: longevity. Here, they have not only improved performance but also crafted an elegant, addictive, and extremely versatile composition. The opening is a delight: a clean, bright citrus that quickly blends with a perfectly balanced rose and geranium. Nothing cloying or overly feminine; these are polished, sober flowers radiating pure sophistication. From the outset, there is an impeccably executed unisex vibe. In the heart, cardamom and saffron add a warm, enveloping spicy note without being overpowering. Everything is in its place, harmonious and without any jarring transitions. Although the name promises oud, do not expect an animalic or rough profile: the oud here is subtle, elegant, with that woody, clean touch that strongly recalls the DNA of the iconic Oud Wood. Projection is moderate, around a metre, ideal for daily wear without bothering anyone, and the longevity is a relief: it easily lasts eight hours on the skin, something many of us missed in recent house launches. In short: Oud Voyager is proof that when Tom Ford wants to, he can still make a difference. A sober, refined fragrance, perfectly balanced, with more than worthy performance. A triumph.

Spectacular! Elegance to the max. It rescues the essence of Oud Fleur but improved and updated. The longevity and projection are good; I hope they don’t touch the formula. It seems to be the work of Dominique Ropion, so nothing can go wrong.

Mmm, the Oud isn’t very noticeable; judging by the name, I expected something heavier and more refined with woods, but they’ve created a refreshing blend of citrus and grape that bears a strong resemblance to Mancera’s Intense Oud.
