Descripción

Kaaf, by Ahmed Al Maghribi, is an olfactive fragrance for men and women that saw the light of day in 2022. Its olfactive pyramid unfolds with a vibrant top note of lavender, watermelon, Sicilian orange, and red fruits; an ethereal floral heart composed of valley lily, jasmine, and lotus flower; and a warm, enveloping base of white musk, sandalwood, and ambroxan.

  • A fantastic find! Smells great: ozonic, fruity, with that blue note I’ve been searching for. They say it’s a clone of Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce, and frankly, it does smell like the Stradivarius air freshener, which is true. It has beastly trail and projection, lasting over eight hours. Just be careful: don’t go over 3-4 sprays or it becomes overwhelming.

Great discovery, smells wonderful, ozonic, fruity, and slightly blue. It is said to be a clone of Fierce by Abercrombie & Fitch. It is true that it smells like the Stradivarius room spray, I testify to that. It has very good trail and projection, and longevity is easily over 8 hours, and I’m not exaggerating. Be careful with the trigger; if you go over 3-4 sprays, you can get overwhelmed.

An inspiration akin to Percival and that famous Fierce that reminds you of branded clothing stores and their perfumes; it’s well-received and liked by the masses of the late 2010s. Here, the musk takes centre stage with fruity and floral notes for a versatile, all-terrain fragrance of the “signature scent” or “everyday wear” cut, with above-average performance without being invasive. I tested it alongside Al Nashama Caprice by Lattafa in an Arab store; for its price of 35-40$, it’s not bad at all; the pressurised atomiser helps, although the bottle is a bit ugly.

This is the perfume a young male bank teller would wear: fresh, with good longevity, and the watermelon note gives it just the right touch of sweetness. Ideal when you’re unsure what to add to your collection. Projects strongly for the first hour. Rating 8/10: a fruity/floral masculine scent that fulfils its purpose.

It smells like the perfume a young man in a bank customer service role would wear. A fresh masculine scent with good longevity; the watermelon note gives it a touch of sweetness. I’d use it when I’m unsure what to wear from my collection. Good longevity, projects for the first hour. Rating 8/10. Fruity/floral masculine scent. It fulfils its purpose.

  • The first part has a slightly odd note that I dislike a bit. I won’t say which one, but I can detect it. After a few hours, in my opinion, the best part kicks in. It leaves a delightful and long-lasting trail. It’s one of those that lasts all day, ideal for work or school.

  • Horrible bottle and simplistic design, yet it contains one of my best discoveries of 2025 in terms of scent and blind buys. Fresh, neutral, clean, not soapy or barbershop-like, very office-appropriate and difficult to describe despite being simple: “aquatic lavender”. Good longevity for a fresh scent, versatile all year round (more so in summer) and suitable for any situation. A candidate for a wardrobe staple, signature scent, or all-rounder. I don’t understand how this marvel went unnoticed in forums. It’s my second bottle, and I say I don’t usually repeat purchases as the universe is immense and I need to be selective to avoid compulsive accumulation (I usually have 3 or 4 for summer and winter).

  • Ugly and simple bottle, but it contains one of my best discoveries of 2025, especially for blind buys. It’s fresh, neutral, and clean; nothing soapy or barbershop-like; very office-appropriate and hard to define: ‘aquatic lavender’. Excellent longevity for a fresh scent, versatile all year round (more so in summer) and suitable for any occasion. A perfect candidate for a wardrobe staple or signature scent. I don’t understand why it goes unnoticed; it’s my second bottle. I rarely repeat purchases or accumulate compulsively (I own few fragrances), but this is an ignored marvel.

I’ve been into this for years, but always from the outside; I have many perfumes and I think I speak with authority. With this fragrance, I felt compelled to comment, without beating around the bush. I was lucky to try Percival in a 5ml decant, and it’s the same thing; it’s one of the best clean scents I’ve ever seen. It’s not synthetic, it’s very well made, it lasts, and it projects. I hope I help you; I bought it on AliExpress for 28€ for 100ml, a gift. Buy blind 100%.

I haven’t tried PDM’s Percival and don’t intend to. It’s an overly hyped house with designer perfumes priced like gold. This is Fierce by Abercrombie with steroids and Red Bull. It lasts 14 hours with a trail for 10. If you apply more than 4 sprays, you’ll get saturated. For me, it’s a titan; I’ve had it for two days and I’m surprised. I put it on at 8 am, got home at 7:30 pm, and my wife says it smells good and leaves a trail wherever I go. Tremendous. It smells of lavender, white flowers, musk, and ambroxan. Clean, very office-appropriate. It projects tidiness and order. If you like the Egoiste Platinum DNA (Fierce imitates that Chanel DNA), it’s for you. Buy it before reformulation. Today is TITAN MODE.

  • I read that it was synthetic and potent, requiring half an hour to become noticeable. I disagree. I’ve tried many fresh scents and know what I’m talking about. I have a 2025 batch and it smells balanced and good from the very first second. I don’t detect a powerful ambroxan (I trained with Atlas, so I was expecting a punch), just sweet and fruity lavender, smelling like a freshly showered man, like shower gel. It’s very mainstream, bringing back memories of my teenage years and certain people. It’s not original nor the most aquatic/herbal of the blues; it has sobriety but smells great in both the opening and dry down. Women love it. It’s a good homage to the DNA of the mentioned Chanel and its commercial version, Fierce Men. Performance is excellent: 8 hours on skin with notable projection, and on clothes it clings (apply 20cm away to avoid stains). Compared to Lanvin L’homme, it’s more soapy and sweet, like shower gel. If you like Ésika’s Men Active, this is a better alternative with more performance. Top ingredient quality, no complaints. I’m going to get a backup.

As you can see from my profile, my signature is Legend by Montblanc. After reading so many praises for this dupe, I decided to buy it. I haven’t let it macerate or used it much yet, but the resemblance to the original is already around 90%. I’ve never tried the original Fierce by Abercrombie & Fitch, but since Legend is their sweeter, less citrusy version, Kaaf probably sits closer to Fierce than to Legend. The idea is essentially Legend, but fresher and more citrusy. As for performance, a single drop still projects strongly after an hour. I’ll update this in a few weeks to see if it changes after maceration.

As you know, my signature is Legend by Montblanc. After reading so many positive reviews of this dupe, I had to buy it. I haven’t used it much yet nor have I let it mature, but the resemblance to Montblanc is at least 90%. I’ve never smelled the original Fierce, but as Legend is sweeter and less citrusy, Kaaf probably resembles Fierce more than Legend. The proposition is this: Legend, but fresher and more citrusy. Performance: a single drop on skin projects as if freshly applied for an hour. I will edit the review after weeks of use to delve deeper into performance and changes after maturation.

I heard it was a potent synthetic that took half an hour to develop, but that’s a lie. I know what I’m talking about after trying many fresh and aquatic scents. I have a 2025 batch and it’s balanced and pleasant from the very first second. I don’t detect strong ambroxan (I was expecting it after trying Atlas) and no, it’s just sweet, fruity lavender, smelling like a freshly showered man or shower gel. It’s mass-appealing, but it brings back teenage memories and thoughts of certain people. It’s not original nor the most aquatic, it has sobriety but is very pleasant with nothing strange in the opening or dry-down. Women love it. I think it’s a good homage to Chanel’s DNA and its commercial Fierce Men version. Performance is excellent: around eight hours on skin projecting at four, and it shines on clothes (apply at 20cm to avoid staining). Compared to Lanvin L’homme, this is less soapy and more like shower gel. If you like Ésika Men Active, this is the best alternative with better performance and a similar DNA. Top-quality ingredients, no complaints. It’s going to earn a backup spot.
