  • Hahaha, I see they’ve listed it again. It’s funny because I always gave it to a relative. I ordered it by catalogue expecting magic, but it wasn’t so. It smells 100% of artificial synthetic leather, and its trail is so heavy it’s annoying. That’s why I gave it away. I remember going into his room and when I opened it, everyone would shout: ‘Close that perfume!’. That was over 10 years ago; I don’t know if it’s still the same, but I imagine it is. As a joke, every time he finished it, I’d give it to him again, and he’d use it without complaining. Those memories make me laugh again with Avon’s cursed little boot.

  • Hahaha, I see they’ve added this fragrance. It’s funny because it’s one I always gave to a relative. I remember ordering it by catalogue expecting a great fragrance, but it wasn’t so. In reality, it’s not that it’s very bad, but it emits an extremely strong aroma of a kind of skin or leather that is SUMMARILY SYNTHETIC, 100% artificial. The bad thing here isn’t so much the smell itself as the trail, which is so heavy it even becomes annoying. For this reason, I had to give it to a relative. I remember that sometimes when visiting that relative when we were gathered, I’d go to his room and simply open the bottle, and quickly those gathered would say, ‘You’ve opened that perfume, close it!!!’. Well, that was about 10 years or more ago; I don’t know if the aroma has changed, nor that strong scent with that monstrous trail. I imagine it has! The truth is, as a form of bullying, every time he finished it, I’d keep giving it to him, and he always kept using it. I think in reality he wasn’t bothered much because he always finished it. Those memories make me laugh again with Avon’s cursed BOOT, hahaha

  • The Avon Little Boot! That classic every man had as a kid. Admit it, it’s our guilty pleasure, hahaha.

The Unappreciated Avon Little Boot This fragrance brings me great nostalgia mainly because my late paternal grandfather used it every day. I know many people hate and detest this little boot fragrance because they argue it smells like a stale, bitter combination of synthetic leather and tobacco. My work friends also hate it for that reason and for its invasive, heavy trail. In my case, I don’t dislike this fragrance despite its old composition and bad reputation because, as I said from the start, this little boot is very misunderstood. Also, it’s quite undervalued, especially in this current era where it seems to have no place due to the invasion of modern, sugary, cloying masculine fragrances that everyone loves.

The Avon Little Boot brings back memories of my grandfather, who wore it daily. I know many people smell stale synthetic leather and tobacco in it, and my colleagues hate it for its heavy trail, but it doesn’t bother me. It’s an old fragrance with an unjustly bad reputation. Nowadays, it’s undervalued amidst the sugary, cloying rubbish that dominates the market.
