Maharjan Gold by Lattafa: starts warm with a sharp floral note that quickly shifts to smoky incense with pepper (the blend smells soapy). Then the flowers fade and the caramel rises, leaving deep, dark oriental notes. It’s curious; it strays from the conventional (it follows the path of Loewe 7 Anónimo but doesn’t smell the same). I recommend it for mature, well-dressed men, for nights out or family gatherings. It’s memorable and, due to its warmth, invites you to try it in the cold.
A bit disappointing, to be honest. The performance is poor. The scent is rich, honeyed, peppery, and smoky; it would be very good if it had better longevity. I sprayed it 14 times and after 15 minutes, it was only detectable on the skin. It disappointed me quite a lot. Still, it could work for being with your partner; it’s an intimate fragrance. Perhaps for the office, but don’t expect much. Try it before buying.
I tried a sample I bought online. The opening was nice, but then it became heavy and too strong. It reminded me of Al Noble Ameer, which I also can’t stand because it’s so intense. The longevity is very short.
For me, the best fragrance I’ve ever tried. It has me completely smitten. A unique and spectacular aroma.
Disappointing for the Lattafa Pride line. I loved it in the store, but on my skin, it loses all its charm. My husband prefers it, but my nose simply can’t stand it. I think the caramel throws everything off balance; the acidity doesn’t blend well with the sweetness. The smoky tone isn’t noticeable at first but adds weight; it smells good from a distance but isn’t pleasant up close. I don’t detect the neroli or cedar. Clearly, this isn’t for blind buying. Test it on your skin and wait two hours; every skin is different. It’s not one of my favourites; from this line, I prefer Eternal Oud and Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold, which are powerful, beautiful, and have great projection.
The lavender is delicious but fades quickly; afterwards, the incense dominates over a sweet, warm base. It smells good, but the projection is weak. It lasts only 4-5 hours on the skin. Given the price, the bottle is worth it on its own.
I’ve just stepped into the world of perfumes, and this smells very different from anything I’ve tried before. I like it for being peculiar; it’s ideal for cold climates or early spring. The pepper opening is potent, but then the incense takes over. It’s neither good nor bad, but it smells like a church. As it dries down, the caramel rises to create a curious blend. It’s very personal; try it before buying.
I’m new to fragrances and this smells different from anything I’ve tried before. I like it for being peculiar and think it suits cold weather or early spring. The sample has a strong pepper opening, but then the incense takes over. It’s neither good nor bad, but at first it smells like a church. As it dries down, the caramel comes through, creating a curious blend. It’s a very personal scent; you have to try it to see if it suits you and what impression you want to convey.
A total disappointment. The longevity is terrible, and that incense scent reminds me of old colognes that I simply don’t like. Do not buy this blindly.
