  1. The noble Ameer sounds like a decent clone of this fragrance at a very low price. I tried it, and although I like it, having the Ameer means there’s no reason to buy this one.

  2. Dominique Ropion has practically achieved the same thing with Babycat by YSL, Vanagloria by Laboratorio Olfattivo, and this one by Penhaligon’s. Vanilla dominates, with incense giving it a slightly plastic edge.

    Very similar to Babycat but truly delicious; Babycat had a harsher opening for me, whereas this is much softer, always retaining that elegant, addictive incense, and dries down to a more vanilla-amber scent. Very pleased.
