I tried it in the London boutique and, while it’s a good perfume, like most from this brand, it ends up in a bit of a limbo: it doesn’t make me jump out of my chair or really excite me. It’s green and easy to like; the mint doesn’t last long, then the violet leaf scent kicks in—that typical green, elegant, slightly aquatic aroma, very ‘English country house’ yet modern. Yes, it doesn’t differ much from their recent launches (greens, violets, lawn…). At those prices, it’s easy to overlook, but I’d recommend trying it because ultimately it’s pleasant and elegant… though at this stage, we want things that drive us mad, and with so much daily choice, scents like this can easily go unnoticed.
