Meh, I know Parfums de Marly isn’t famous for innovation; it’s more like a house of dupes, and this isn’t an exception. It’s not a bad perfume, but it’s nothing new. They don’t innovate and offer nothing interesting. You can tell it’s quality, but in my collection, it’s redundant. It resembles Althair, Mercedes Benz Club Intense, and even YSL’s Nuit de L’Homme—the same spiced vanilla DNA, with just a touch of that waxy tangerine note added.
Blind buy (major mistake). Pleasant scent, safe, nothing new on the horizon. I was very surprised by the projection. It’s skin-level from minute one. I’ve worn it for two hours, and this doesn’t promise longevity. Perfectly unisex. Between Castley and Eragon, the PDM scents keep me happy.
I just tried it at Nordstrom in Texas and, honestly, I didn’t like it much. I don’t know; it’s a strange combination of notes that simply didn’t convince me. However, it is the most potent of the three new releases. You can try them in-store now, and if you buy, they’ll mail it to you on the first of November. Sillage 8/10, scent 5/10, longevity 8/10.
