To be honest, this fragrance is a real treat. Since I first wore it today, people who never usually pay attention to me are now complimenting me. The trail is heavy, pleasant, and reaches up to two metres; it’s made to please. They say there are comparisons, but none come close in terms of ingredient quality. The price is an issue, but I tried the DUA dupe: let it mature for a month and it exudes quality, replicating the original perfectly. Highly recommended and powerful in a good way.
A mediocre launch from Parfums de Marley. Nice bottle to hide the fact that this is a poor proposal from a brand that has been hiding its niche profile for years with generic, almost designer-style scents. It’s an ambroxan bomb, soapy and clean with sweet tints that aren’t unpleasant. If you want similar sensations but with more personality, buy Invictus Aqua and save yourself dollars and months of regret over something so mediocre.
I tried it at Nordstrom in Texas and out of the three, this was the one I liked the most; it smells very good. However, I think the price is excessive: if it cost around £200 I’d give it some thought, but £550 is no joke. I sense good projection, nothing extraordinary but it’s good. Sillage 7.5/10, scent 9/10, longevity 7.5/10.
