  I was eagerly anticipating this due to those notes that made my mouth water. It’s divine, gourmand, adult and sensual, very ‘nutty’, with a special touch of nuts and plenty of honey. As it dries down, ambergris and various woods emerge. The performance is exquisite; last night I recovered a jumper from the previous evening and it smelled as if freshly worn. It has great projection and longevity, is unisex and more original than the Sugar Addict from the same house. If you like Navitus’s Baklava Royale, you’ll love this; it’s stronger and longer-lasting. It doesn’t resemble Sphinx’s Creme de Pistache, so you can have both. It’s fascinating and makes me want to buy a refill.

  So far, the most realistic pistachio I’ve tried. It comes very close to Library Of Fragrance’s pistachio ice cream, but with superior niche quality. The blend is very rounded, dominated by the pistachio and a vanilla base. It’s warm and cosy. My only gripe is the price; 50ml runs around €185, I feel they could have offered a larger volume. Still, it deserves every euro for how it’s crafted.
