  I’ve had it since I saw it on my blind wishlist because the notes promised charm and they delivered. It’s sweet with a texture; the opening smells of sugared plastic; for me, it’s not exactly nail polish. It’s a doll perfume, a Barbie scent – fun, sweet and playful. If you don’t like the smell of a ‘doll straight out of the box’, you probably won’t like it entirely. I personally adore it; it’s a pleasant aroma perfect for everyday wear. Longevity is around six or seven hours with good sillage.

It’s sweet with a plastic texture; the opening smells of melted sugar rather than nail polish. It’s a doll perfume, a Barbie scent – fun, sweet and playful.   I love rare yet wearable perfumes that aren’t just an expensive experience but actually accompany you without putting people off. I’m interested in thoughtfully applied industrial scents, like the petrol in Fahrenheit, so when I saw ‘nail polish’ in the pyramid, I bought it on a whim. What a disappointment! It doesn’t smell chemical or vinylic; instead, it’s sugared raspberry with a bitter almond touch from heliotrope. Perhaps ‘nail polish’ is too generic to define a specific scent. It’s not the friendly, weird perfume I expected, but something ordinary with abysmal longevity. The price is unjustifiable.
