  • The younger sibling of Pink Sugar doesn’t quite reach the heels of the original, at least not in the ‘pink’ department. I love it, but it fails to match the power and projection of the classic. To my nose, Pink Sugar Sensual isn’t an Oriental or sophisticated fragrance; I perceive it as very fruity with playful, mischievous gourmand touches, yet nothing remotely pink. It’s a fairly linear behaviour, a sweet citrus with vanilla nuances. From the start, it smells like mandarin segments dusted with sugar, and that sugar is divine because it adds texture, like sipping lemonade and feeling a sugar grain melt on your tongue… Pink Sugar Sensual is like a mandarin treat with sparkling, vibrating sugar crystals. Then a very light, shy vanilla makes its presence felt, but the tangerine remains the star. It’s a light fragrance and, unlike Pink Sugar, PS Sensual can definitely be worn on very hot days. However, it doesn’t last long on the skin, so frequent reapplication is necessary.

  • The little sister of the house doesn’t quite reach her older sibling’s feet when it comes to ‘pink’ vibes. I absolutely adore it, yet it fails to match the punch and projection of the original. To my nose, Pink Sugar Sensual isn’t oriental or sophisticated; it feels super fruity with naughty gourmand touches, with nothing remotely pink. It’s linear, a sweet citrus with vanilla nuances. At first, it smells of mandarin and sugar, and that sugar is divine, adding texture, like sipping lemonade and stumbling upon a sugar cube in your mouth… Imagine a mandarin infused with sparkling, vibrating sugar crystals. Then a shy vanilla emerges, but the tangerine orange takes the lead. It’s light and, unlike the original, suitable for hot days. However, it doesn’t last long on the skin and requires frequent reapplication.

  • I loved it. The notes I detect most are vanilla, sugar, and sandalwood, one of my favourites. I applied it four hours ago and can still smell it. I find it fresh, pleasant, and sweet, but not that cloying sweetness that gives a headache; rather, it is a shy, rich sweetness. I consider it for daytime wear due to its delicacy and freshness.

  • I loved it. The notes I detect most are vanilla, sugar and sandalwood, which is one of my favourites. I’ve worn it for about four hours and I can still smell it. I find it fresh, pleasant and sweet, but not in that cloying way that gives you a headache; rather like a shy, delicious sweet treat. I consider it a daytime fragrance, given how delicate and fresh it is.

Sweet, sweet, sweet. A great perfume with a very pleasant and truly sensual scent, as the name suggests. For the price, it is an incredible bargain. I would buy it again; it has good longevity. My rating: 10/10, it meets all expectations.

Refreshing, citrusy, and sweet opening with mandarin, bergamot, and red berries. As it dries down, it becomes more floral, sugary, and woody. Despite being sweet, it works perfectly in heat and enclosed spaces thanks to the citrus notes. It is a sweet floral, not edible. Lasts about five hours with a lighter trail than the original, but the scent lingers close to the skin.

  • I tried it and absolutely loved it. It is sweet, but not over the top (though I personally don’t mind it being cloying).

  • Smells more citrusy and floral, with less cotton candy than the previous one. The longevity is disappointing: it barely lasts four hours and needs reapplication to keep going. I recommend it for daytime wear in summer or spring. It is not exclusive and feels a little generic.

It is sweet, nostalgic, and playful, reminding me of another scent I used that transports me back to my adolescence with a sense of nostalgia. It projects strongly on my skin; sweet, fruity, and floral, it is not unpleasant and wears like a warm veil in this cold weather. Buy blind without regrets.

It’s a sweet, vanilla-scented, playful fragrance that reminds me of another I used to wear (though I can’t recall which), transporting me back to my teenage years with a sense of longing. On my skin, it projects quite well; such a sweet, fruity, floral scent that doesn’t offend and wraps around like a warm veil in this unpleasantly cold weather. A blind buy from which I feel absolutely no regret.

  • It resembles Fantasy quite a bit but feels a little weaker; I expected something else. It differs from the original Pink Sugar because one is a rather sharp bomb that can be off-putting to some, whereas the sensual version is a fragrance easier to enjoy. The ‘sensual’ aspect doesn’t make sense to me; it evokes nothing of the sort for me. If you already own Fantasy, there’s no point buying this, as Fantasy is more accessible and economical. I like it, but it hasn’t met my expectations; it’s like having a spare Fantasy.

  • It bears a strong resemblance to Fantasy, but feels a bit weaker. I was expecting something else. The original Pink Sugar is a sharp bomb that can be irritating at times, whereas this Sensual version is easier to wear. The ‘sensual’ moniker is baffling; it evokes nothing for me. If you own Fantasy, do not buy this; it is cheaper and more accessible. I like it, but it failed to meet my expectations; it’s like having a spare Fantasy.

It’s a lovely perfume, only that I expected something much sweeter; at least for me, it has a more citrusy opening than I imagined, and the ‘sensual’ part means nothing to my nose. Nevertheless, I like it very much; it has a moderate trail and a longevity of over six hours.

It’s a lovely perfume, though I expected something sweeter; on my skin it smells more citrusy than I anticipated, and the ‘sensual’ aspect doesn’t speak to me. Nevertheless, I adore it: moderate trail and lasts over six hours.
