Of all the Tom Ford ‘dupes’, this is the one I like the least. To clarify, it’s not bad, but on my skin, I feel its trail and longevity are weak compared to the rest of that line. It’s unisex, but I feel it leans more towards the masculine side. It’s a sweeter fragrance than floral, where the saffron or turmeric and amber stand out more than the roses. I see it as more intimate, for being close to your special someone or a dinner, not for daily wear.
Looking at the notes, you might think roses would dominate… but saffron and patchouli are the protagonists. It’s a high-quality incense patchouli that makes it super warm, intimate, and lovely. It’s an exotic rose that surprised me for the better; I love it and feel it’s unisex.
Looking at the notes, you might think you’d smell a lot of roses… however, saffron and patchouli dominate. The patchouli is a high-quality incense type that makes it wonderfully warm, intimate, and beautiful. It’s an exotic rose that surprised me for the better; I really like it and perceive it as unisex.
It’s a rose in the plural; I can’t tell which one dominates each phase, but I notice a subtle shift: the opening notes are slightly mature, while the dry down is fresh, damp, and floral without being overpowering. The vanilla hint accompanies the roses for the six hours it lasts on my skin. It seems very feminine, ideal for sleeping or relaxing, and easy to enjoy. I bought it blind and the price is excellent for the quality. I recommend it to rose lovers. I tried Tom Ford’s Rose Prick and, to be honest, they aren’t that similar; the quality of the roses in TF is superior, and the spices are a 10. This is unisex, so I recommend testing it on skin before buying.

Caution: not suitable for blind buys. Upon first spray, it’s like rose juice with stems, leaves, and substrate included—very green, earthy, and leaning masculine. After a while, it evolves and the tonka bean sweetens the journey slightly, though the vanilla never really stands out on my skin. It feels fresh and spicy; interesting, but it requires a lot of patience to understand. I’m currently in that stage…
I have a decant and, for the price, it’s excellent. It smells of roses, but nothing exclusively feminine to me; rather, it’s roses as such, unisex. If the Pisces Aphrodite had a scent, it would surely be this, Rose Petals. Would I recommend it? Yes, why not? It’s an excellent, versatile fragrance for both men and women, not intrusive, and it evolves according to your skin’s pH. 👍🌹💕 7.7/10
For that price, the decant is good. It smells of roses, but nothing typically feminine; it’s more like natural roses, unisex. If Pisces Aphrodite had a scent, it would be this. Would I recommend it? Yes, why not. It’s excellent, versatile, not intrusive, and changes with your skin’s pH. 👍🌹💕 7.7/10
Don’t expect roses like in a Delina or Dior Blooming Bouquet. Here it is more bitter and earthy, like a potted rose with stems, soil, and substrate. The opening is an intense kick of licorice, quite unpleasant. Once dried, it becomes sweeter, with saffron and patchouli taking over, with no trace of roses. On my skin, it doesn’t project much but lasts 4-5 hours. It doesn’t matter because I can’t stand it and I’m going to wash it off. I don’t know the TF Rose Prick to compare. It cost me $19, a small loss; I certainly won’t use it again. If you’re looking for something earthy and dark, this could be it. Unisex.
Literally the worst perfume I’ve ever tried; definitely not for me. The patchouli dominates and becomes overwhelming; it smells of rose, but not a pleasant rose.
Literally the worst perfume I’ve ever tried; it’s not for me and I wouldn’t recommend it. The patchouli dominates and smells overpowering; it’s supposed to be rose, but it’s certainly not a pleasant rose scent.
I bought it blind over six months ago (it was my first Arabic scent) and hated it. I gave it chances over time but nothing changed. Until today. One day I thought I couldn’t possibly like it, so I applied it heavily, and to my surprise, I actually did! I don’t know why, but now I love it. I adore it and have applied it several times to reinforce it. From today, it’s my perfume.
A potent rose fragrance with good longevity and a moderate sillage. Everyone has liked it, though it lacks the quality of other roses, the price-to-performance ratio is excellent. Unisex.
This thing should be illegal. It smells like an elderly lady soaked in rose water. Simply a disgusting scent.
A rose fragrance with a potent opening, good longevity, and a moderate trail. It’s a fragrance that people enjoy; I shared it with several people and none disliked it. Perhaps it doesn’t have the quality of other rose perfumes, but the quality-to-price ratio is more than good. Unisex.
It just smells like talcum powder and nothing else. I simply didn’t like it.
I only detected a smell of talc and nothing else. I didn’t like it.
I bought it because it was floral, but it smells very artificial. Perhaps it lacked vanilla, as the floral notes here are far too strong.

Smells like wooden pews in an old church.
Smells like a wooden bench in an old church.
I haven’t used it much, but with mist and sunshine, it’s enchanting. Warm roses with spices that yield to a mature sweetness, not dessert-like, but elegant. As the hours pass, it becomes an earthy, serious patchouli that doesn’t lose its warmth. It’s like an autumnal walk in a coat and scarf. It comforts and makes one dress elegantly. Moderate projection, lasting 8-9 hours. Recommended for lovers of warm, sweet, and earthy rose and patchouli. Clearly unisex, it makes a man smell phenomenal.
Roses with a touch of talc, but very garden-fresh and nothing synthetic. I bought it blindly due to my love of roses and was surprised to find it 75% identical to my Insense from the 90s. Since I managed to get hold of that discontinued bottle, I can confirm it’s a triumph to enjoy a bit of Insense for just 23 euros. It still needs time to mature in the Arab style. Very pleased.
