Very feminine and elegant, with a nocturnal air. It is an intense floral where the jasmine blends with the magnolia, creating a creamy, sweet texture with an amber base.

  • What a lovely perfume! A romantic and creamy jasmine with sandalwood and tonka bean that give it depth and a woody touch. I had the Mon Jasmin Noir and I liked its nougat note more, very rich; nevertheless, this smells wonderful, more floral and very elegant, really refined. Femininity at one hundred per cent. It lingers on the skin with a moderate trail, excellent because it doesn’t overwhelm. The bottle is also wonderful, iconic for the brand, and in transparent black glass.

  • What a beautiful perfume! A romantic and creamy jasmine, accompanied by sandalwood and tonka bean, which give it a deep and woody touch. I had the Mon Jasmin Noir and I liked that nougat note more, very rich; nevertheless, this perfume is very handsome, more floral and above all very elegant, really refined. The bottle is also beautiful, iconic for the brand, and in transparent black glass.

  • Aahh, what a beauty this perfume is!! I received it a long time ago, at a time when I felt a bit melancholic, and I left it until I could appreciate it with another spirit. And now the moment has arrived. What a delight, please! I wish it would last forever, projecting its vapours everywhere. I smell white flowers, not a bouquet, but a selected combination: a silky jasmine with something more citrusy between gardenia and perhaps a touch of orange blossom? They are vaporous, present, with body but ethereal like a veil moved by the wind, balanced with woods and something that gives a little sweetness to the wood. In the first hour, the green vein is well distinguished among the flowers, giving it a special freshness without taking away the darkness or nocturnality, without taking away the serious, velvet, and elegant quality it has. It works for day use but marks a mood, putting you in a certain tune. It is not aggressive at all, it is seductive and attractive in a quiet, serious, and ‘still’ way, like saying ‘I am here and this is what I am’ and nothing more. I feel it as calming but at the same time mysterious… well, that’s close to the definition of something ‘narcotic’, isn’t it? Like when they work well with patchouli. It does not show its drier, sparkling, and citrusy side; it is not a distinguishable note per se, but it is unmistakably there from start to finish, adding much depth to the scent, rounding off the composition, and giving that dark and somewhat balsamic spirit… What could it be? I like Bvlgari, several of my favourite perfumes are from Bvlgari, and this Splendida line just keeps enchanting me (saving the Rose Rose which seems well made but doesn’t move me much…). I can’t wait to get the last one, Patchouli Temptation.

  • Every skin has its chemistry; the final note is unique. To me, it smells like Gardenia noir: a garden of gardenias and jasmines under the cold dew. You can feel the green, the woody, and the fleshy petals in different states of maturity. Gardenia is sweet, a scent that is loved or hated without thinking, linked to nostalgia or purity depending on who smells it. Ideal for cold weather or rain. Although longevity in Bvlgari is usually short, here it lasted about 5 hours. It is almost narcotic, but perfumes are an extension of who wears them. It is not for me; I am casual, relaxed, solemn elegance is not my style. This scent is opulent and elegant, although elegance is not bought nor does it require a designer; it is something you have. A spectacle of white flowers that would make someone stop and inhale deeply if they passed by.

  • Be aware, every skin has its own chemistry with scents; the final note is what adds to the formula, and everyone has their unique olfactory memory. Under my perception, it should be called Gardenia noir; it evokes a garden of gardenias and jasmines bathed in morning dew on a cold day. You can feel the green, the woody, and the fleshy petals in various stages, some almost wilting. Gardenias smell sweet and aren’t for everyone; you either love or hate them without thinking, because for many, white flowers like gardenias, jasmines, neroli, or lilies remind them of a funeral or cemetery, so I suppose many have nostalgia or sadness linked to them. But others associate white flowers with purity, cleanliness, elegance, and even warmth. I wear Jasmin noir in cold or rainy weather, but taste is not written in stone. I’ve read that many complain about the longevity of Bvlgari perfumes; in my case, the longevity and trail were lasting, about 5 hours. A scent that ultimately I like, it’s almost narcotic, BUT scents have their own personality and are an extension of the person wearing them, so it wasn’t something for me. My personality is casual, not solemn, sometimes relaxed, impulsive, and imprudent; in short, solemn elegance is not my style. This scent is opulent and elegant, and I clarify: elegance does not mean wearing designer clothes; there are very elegant women in jeans and a basic blouse. Elegance is something you have or you don’t, something impossible to buy. In conclusion, a spectacle of elegant white flowers that would make someone stop and inhale deeply if they passed by with that wonder.

  • Elegant, an ambrosia with character, deep. A dark floral… simply beautiful! To me, it leans towards oriental and reminds me of Cartier’s ‘Baiser du Dragon’. Slightly bitter, although they mention green notes, I detect almonds. It is perfectly balanced, restrained in sweetness, it manages to be stately and opulent without falling into the eighties or looking dated. The flowers are enveloping, cool, narcotic, hard, wintry, and nostalgic. It is not for every day, but it has its moments. I don’t understand why it isn’t talked about more… Are they discontinuing it? It would be a shame 😞 I won’t add more, I subscribe to the words of the previous reviews which are simply perfect. It is curious, I perceive everything exactly the same, even the feeling of sadness. Try it, it is worth it.
