  • Very refreshing, ideal for daily wear or the gym. Standard longevity for commercial citrus scents, pleasant projection but nothing invasive or compliment-generating; it’s pleasant for you and others. Very affordable price, even in sales or Duty Free. Without a doubt, the dry-down is better than the opening. If you’re looking to smell good without spending much, this is for you.

I love it; it smells different from anything in my collection. It has one major drawback: it doesn’t last at all; there’s no trace on the skin after an hour. I don’t know if it was more potent before; I bought this month with a batch from this year, but it works for the gym or quick outings. Don’t ask for projection or medium longevity; it falls well short.

I absolutely love the scent; it’s unique in my collection, but it has one major flaw: it doesn’t last at all. By the end of the hour, there’s no trace left on the skin. I’m not sure if it used to be more potent as I bought this month and the batch is from this year, but it’s fine for a quick gym session or a short outing. Just don’t expect any projection or average longevity; it’s well below that.

  • A scent from the 80s and 90s, light, clean and creamy due to the nutmeg. The opening is very alcoholic: poor longevity and trail, very weak. Only an hour and a half where it’s noticeable and people like it. Those who said it smells like bronzer might have been right back in the day. It disappointed me after the hype; perhaps it has been reformulated. If you like nut and wood notes, try Armand Basi Homme, which is something else. I regret spending nearly 6,000 pesetas for nothing. Now at €39 for 200ml (August 2022), you get the whole bottle. One of the biggest disappointments so far; I wouldn’t recommend it for me, but others like it and ask about it.

  • Smells great and different. Yes, it does smell like sunscreen; the cardamom and nutmeg are noticeable. It lasts four hours with medium projection, then fades. My batch is from October 2022, so I can’t comment on earlier versions. Good value if it performs like this (€19 for 40ml). I have more expensive perfumes that last the same, so I’m happy with Sun Men.

I agree with that late 80s and early 90s scent, with that ‘Cooper’ vibe that I love. I’m surprised by the strong orange note even though I can’t detect it. It lasted my working day, but only within my personal bubble; my wife loved it. Although it was a tough day, the scent put me in a good mood.

  • Polydistortion

This is a delight. It smells like basking in the sun by the pool, applying a high-quality bronzer, and then a piña colada immediately afterwards.

  • Polydistortion

This is a delight. It smells like sun by the pool with a good bronzer and a piña colada just afterwards. Irresistible.

Sun Men by Jil Sander: creamy, citrusy, with rosemary and a hint of sweetness. Fresh and clean, perfect for the heat. It didn’t grab me at first, but I’ve grown to like it over time. I’ve had it for years; I’m not sure if it has changed or if it’s my skin, but I’d love to try it again to see if it’s still the same after 20 years. It does its job, providing constant freshness. Rating: 6/10.

  • My summer favourite. A clean, fresh scent with no sunscreen notes, though it does have a creamy touch. I’ve worn it for years and haven’t noticed any changes due to reformulations; it smells just as it did at the start. On skin, it’s noticeable for the first hour after work, although it doesn’t have great projection. Hard to find in Spain, but the price has dropped significantly; now it costs half what it used to, even at €80 for 200ml.

  • My favourite summer perfume. It doesn’t smell like sunscreen as some say; it’s more creamy, clean and fresh. I’ve been using it for years and I don’t think it has changed with the reformulations; it still smells exactly as it did at the start. On skin, it becomes noticeable after a day at work; although it doesn’t have great projection, it does make an impression for at least the first hour. It’s hard to find in the UK, and it used to cost much more; I once paid £80 for 200ml, whereas now it’s half the price.
