It’s citrusy, fresh, lightly floral and very sophisticated. Very agreeable, though it doesn’t quite suit my personality.
In my opinion, Tory Burch is very similar to Clinique’s Happy. It’s a delicate, citrus fragrance, like a wave of freshness. The opening is intensely citrusy: grapefruit with sweet mandarin, followed by the floral dance where, on my nose, peony, mimosa, orange blossom and neroli take the lead, closing with a well-blended musk and woods. What I love most is the heart, those floral notes bathed in citrus. Is it innovative? No, but it smells pleasant, clean and fresh. The projection is very soft, longevity is good though it clings to the skin. For the price, I expected more.
Reminds me a lot of Clinique’s Happy and Lancôme’s Oui. It’s fresh, floral, and the opening is strong with lemon, but then it settles and becomes lovely. Lasts about seven hours with a moderate trail. I adore its freshness; it’s a great perfume.
One of my favourites, as I’ve mentioned before; citrus is my forte. The opening is brilliant, mandarin-led, and I’d love for it to last forever, but it gradually fades and the florals emerge; jasmine is what I notice most. It has decent longevity if sprayed on clothes, not so much on skin. The price is high, not because of the scent, but due to that lack of staying power.
