  • Finally, a neroli perfume that truly hits the spot: it’s the most realistic floral-herbal version I’ve tried, alongside the jasmine. It smells like those spring bursts on streets with ivy-covered villas and jasmine on the walls. You stop to smell those intense little flowers that last only a few days, pick a handful, and take them home to tuck into your books to capture the scent of spring, summer, and sea salt. This bottle has that magic: an intense but naked tuberose, without pomposity or adornments. Grazie Tom Ford.

  • Finally, a tuberose perfume that has truly convinced me :). It’s the most realistic floral and herbal version I’ve tried, with jasmine included. It reminds me of those spring bursts when walking down streets with concrete walls covered in ivy and jasmine. You stop to smell those little flowers that smell of death and life in just a few days. In the end, you pick a handful and take them home to tuck them between your books to capture that scent of spring, summer, and sea salt. This bottle has a bit of that magic: an intense but naked tuberose, without pomposity or adornments. Grazie Tom Ford.

  • It’s delicious to me but I can’t afford it. That’s why I’ll replace it with Givenchy’s Amarige, which I see a great resemblance to.

I heard about it today and was excited to try it, as I read it smelled like a new doll. But on my skin, it smells like Baygon Raid, that mosquito spray insecticide. That’s what this perfume smells like.

  • What a beauty. The opening caught me by surprise: delicate neroli with a sweet touch reminiscent of gum, very similar to Montale’s Mukhallat, curious and subtle. Although it doesn’t last long, it breaks the classic weight of neroli and makes the welcome much more charming. Then it evolves into a zen and elegant mix of neroli and musk; despite being soft, it has strength and presence. If you like Narciso Rodriguez, this has points. For me, it’s one of the best quiet, daytime feminine perfumes I’ve tried.

It’s subtle and doesn’t last long, yet it breaks the heavy air of classic neroli to make the welcome far more charming. Then it evolves into a zen, elegant mix of neroli and musk. • It’s the perfume I’d have Kirsten Dunst wear in a Sophia Coppola film, dressed as a bride in Converse. Very feminine, romantic, with a pop touch that adds character. It also smells like a glass of milk with tea and a lace nightie; utterly comforting. I wear it when I fancy reading in my pyjamas and trainers.
