There are very few differences from Lost Cherry. At first, it smells of smoke and leather, giving it more darkness, but once it dries down, it’s almost identical to the other. I’m glad I tested samples, because it’s not worth spending on the bottle if you already have Lost Cherry. A bit disappointing for me.

  • Dama Incognita

Of all Tom Ford’s ‘cherries’, this is the one I liked, because Lost Cherry seems too sweet and syrupy to me, and Electric Cherry too watery. Here, you can tell the cherry is not sweet or synthetic, accompanied by a smoky wood. And unlike the Cherry Oud by Guerlain (which I am testing at the same time), here the fruity part stands out more and the saffron gives it a peculiar combination. Its longevity and sillage on my skin are moderate. I have added this cherry to my wishlist.

Of all Tom Ford’s ‘cherries’, this is the one that has won me over, because Lost Cherry smells like syrup to me and Electric Cherry like water. Here, the cherry is real, neither sweet nor synthetic, held together by a smoky wood. Unlike the Cherry Oud by Guerlain that I’m testing at the same time, here the fruity notes take precedence and the saffron adds a special touch. The longevity and sillage are moderate. I’ve already added it to my wishlist.

  • I’ve read and seen many criticisms about its lack of originality and complexity compared to other Tom Ford fragrances. However, I must say that the tone of the criticisms seems exaggerated to me. To my taste, it is, by far, the best in Tom Ford’s Cherry line, and I find it quite distinctive compared to others on the market. It has a very characteristic and present cherry scent, with its sweetness and acidity, but very well complemented by leather, wood, and a strong smell of smoke or incense. This gives it a dark, masculine character, ideal for cold climates and night time. What is certainly an issue is the extremely high cost of the fragrance. If you can get some decants, I think it’s a better deal, because buying it… I’m not sure.

  • I have read many reviews stating it lacks originality and complexity compared to other Tom Ford perfumes, but I think they exaggerate. For me, it is the best in the Cherry line and quite distinctive. It smells of cherry with its sweetness and acidity, but the leather, wood and smoke or incense complement it well. It has a dark, masculine character and is ideal for cold climates and night. The only issue is the price. If you can get decants, it’s a better deal, because buying the full bottle… I’m not sure.

Lost Cherry but with a smoked aroma, as if you put a cherry in a smoker, or worse still, Vick’s syrup with a smoked aroma. If you didn’t like Lost Cherry—as I didn’t—skip this without looking because it’s even worse.

Lost Cherry but with a smoked aroma, as if you were smoking a cherry, or, worse still, a jar of Vick’s cough syrup with a smoked scent. If you didn’t like Lost Cherry -like me- skip this without a second look, because it’s even worse.

Wow, I tried this perfume today at the John Lewis. At first I felt the cherry, then I almost couldn’t perceive it, but after two hours… the cherry disappeared ON MY SKIN and gave a brutal turn. I’m from the south; it transported me to Marbella, Seville, to my family during Semana Santa, to the incense of Semana Santa, and to orthodox incense itself. Some might want to kill me, but it’s become that without more; I usually don’t like that ecclesiastical incense, but I can’t tear myself away from my wrist because every now and then that smell comes back and transports me home. I’m a great student of the subconscious and I’m increasingly surprised by what we retain; really, for him, there is no time or space. Would I buy it? With that price and to smell like orthodox incense, it doesn’t match for me, but the experience was precious and the power, sillage, and longevity look like it’s a bomb.

Wow! Everything I didn’t like about Lost Cherry, I love here. Smoky cherry with leather… reminds me a bit of Room 1015’s Cherry Punk (my signature). It’s smoky and fruity but not childish (something that often happens with fruits). Dark, gothic, and adult, more for winter, but usable if you don’t overdo the sprays. Totally unisex, although I believe all perfumes are, in this case we all agree. The evolution isn’t incredible, but honestly I think it’s the best. The smoky leather becomes more noticeable than the fruity notes as time passes. Gender: unisex. Age: 18+. Longevity: 9/10. Sillage: 6/10. Rating: 9/10.

  • For me, the opening is a blast of damsons, but within seconds the saffron takes over, and with minutes the smoke gains strength with wood notes. I’d read countless reviews and never imagined the saffron; it was a total surprise. It’s a perfume that, as others have said, doesn’t launch rockets compared to other fragrances from the house.

  • Tom Ford’s Cherry Smoke: not for everyone. It’s not a ‘pretty’ perfume; it’s bizarre. It fuses suggestive sweetness with a backdrop of excess and dark desires. It’s for someone who wants to look sophisticated, extravagant and unconventional. More than cherries, it’s leather and smoke, seeming like a struggle between seduction, luxury and vices. A subliminal message that makes you feel emotions without realising it. It’s for a select audience and special occasions. For those seeking unusual experiences and seeing the world differently. It smells of passion, power and control. Personally, I love it, but it’s not versatile or seeking compliments. I enjoy it myself. I imagine wearing it at night, in winter, with candles and Soda Stereo music. Scent: 9. Projection: 2 hours. Longevity: 7 hours. Do not buy blind.

  • Tom Ford’s Cherry Smoke: Not for everyone. It’s not a ‘pretty’ perfume; it’s something bizarre that mixes suggestive sweetness with a background of excess and dark desires. It’s a daring perfume that evokes something… in short, it’s for those who want to show themselves as sophisticated, extravagant, and unconventional. It’s much more than cherries, leather, and smoke; it seems like a struggle between seduction, luxury, and vices. A hidden message that leads us to experience emotions without realising it. It’s a rare fragrance, not for the masses, but for a select audience and special occasions. For those who see the world differently and understand sensations like passion, power, control, and dominance. Personally, I love it, but it’s not very versatile and might not garner many compliments. I enjoy it for myself. Although I don’t have the ideal occasion yet, I know it will be at night, at a cold dinner with candles, with Soda Stereo playing. Scent: 9. Projection: 2 hours. Longevity: 7 hours. Not a blind buy.

Don’t buy this if you don’t like smoke. It smells like Lost Cherry but with leather and lots of smoke. Personally, I don’t enjoy that note; I thought leather and cherry would dominate more, but it smells like burnt paper, not winter woods. It looks very mature and masculine. If you’re looking for fresh or sweet aromas, this isn’t for you. The cherry moves away from gourmand territory into wood, smoke, and leather. I understand the target audience and it’s a great perfume, but ammm, I’m not sure.

  • The best cherry perfume 🔥🔥🔥 I haven’t enjoyed a perfume in a long time, like today with this work of art. I can’t stop smelling myself, it’s addictive. Perfumes don’t have a gender, but this is totally unisex, it looks good on men or women. I can’t mention the notes because this symphony has me lost, but the cherry is noticeable in all stages. It’s not sweet; it’s a dark cherry with leather and woods. It’s smoked cherry 🔥.

  • The best perfume with a cherry note 🔥🔥🔥. I hadn’t enjoyed an aroma like this in ages, and today with this work of art I couldn’t stop smelling myself. It’s super addictive. Although perfumes don’t have a gender, this is totally unisex, looking good on both men and women. I can’t list the notes because this symphony has me a bit lost, but the cherry is very noticeable in every stage. It’s not sweet, but a dark cherry with leather and woods. It’s a smoky cherry 🔥.

I’ve been testing this Tom Ford decant for months and finally smelled it today. As always, the house leaves no one indifferent; here comes an acidic, wild, almost fermented cherry. Immediately, it’s wrapped in subtle leather, olive, and blackcurrant, until the smoke takes centre stage alongside the fruit, drying down mysteriously close to the skin. I don’t dislike it, but it’s hard to wear and I’m not sure when to use it: a club, a date, or work? The blend is esoteric; it could be black magic or cough syrup. If you’re a witch, tarot reader, shaman, or cult leader, this is for you. For now, I’m not buying it; I see very little chance of daily use. Scent: 7, Versatility: 2, Longevity: 9, Projection: 7.

  • Tom Ford’s Cherry Smoke is pure darkness, the gothic, smoky side of Lost Cherry. The opening is an intense sweetness with lots of smoke, that real cherry but with a dark character. As it dries down, the smoke dominates alongside a bitter cherry that isn’t cloying, with a hint of blackcurrant adding a mysterious, dark fruity touch. It’s rich, extravagant, and hard to pin down; it smells like slow-roasted black cherry. If you don’t like smoke or dark scents, this isn’t for you. It’s tempting, seductive, and personal, perfect for a cold night with a coat in a lit-up city, totally unisex. Longevity is moderate for the high price, and projection is moderate, creating an intimate experience. Incredible concept, almost no versatility, and an exorbitant price. Rating: 6.1/10.
