  I’m a fan of oriental gourmands, and when I was looking for the Michael by MK, this caught me off guard: it’s super ‘sexy’. It’s masculine yet delicate, refined without losing any of its character, with that Ermenegildo Zegna style. It has some similarities to another brand, but I feel it’s unique and, to be honest, addictive. At first, I notice the bergamot and mint, but the dry-down is the best part: an intense, intoxicating, resinous yet fresh amber. The vanilla seals it off perfectly, and I detect a very discreet flower that gives it its special touch. I tested it on blotter and skin almost a month before buying; the demo told me it was a limited edition. At first, I didn’t believe it, as they often tell stories to sell, but after checking the sister website and Basenotes, I saw it’s a hidden gem amidst all the marketing from Paco R., Gucci, YSL, and Lancome. At the start, I wanted its older sibling, ‘Uomo’, which shares the opening and pyramid notes, but this little one seduced me. Its longevity and projection surpass the designers’: around 9-12 hours on skin and 6 days on blotter. The projection is above average, with moments where the amber and vanilla stand out, reminding me they’re still there. That day I was wearing the ‘Angel’ by Tom Ford EDP (the women’s version with honey and patchouli that I adore) and I noticed the quality of the ingredients. Also, seeing the bottle and box, I was surprised it’s an Italian brand made in Switzerland. Now I’m asking the community for help (my olfactory memory is still limited). If you get the chance, run and buy this work of art (a bit exaggerated), and if you try it, tell me if it smells like any other perfume, because as it seems limited, I don’t want to miss out on this juice. Only comes in 50ml and that saddens me. FOR REAL, TRY IT AND IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING SIMILAR, TELL ME. Thanks =)

  An exquisite fragrance, very unique with a super sexy aroma. Although its longevity and sillage aren’t the best, it’s madness in terms of price-to-quality. Highly recommended. I bought the 2020 batch and it’s pure magic.

  Just tried it, it was a gift, and yes, it’s quite good. The opening is very linear, similar to Uomo, but gradually transforms into an exquisite scent. I find it very elegant, yet rich enough to go well with jeans and a t-shirt. Let’s hope it’s a pick-up magnet.

  Exquisite and utterly unique fragrance with a very sexy touch. While the longevity and sillage aren’t the best, the price-to-quality ratio is incredible. Highly recommended; the 2020 batch is absolute madness.
