I love it; it’s like if you made Gucci Guilty Absolute fresh, metallic, and herbaceous. A very strange, anti-mainstream thing if you’ve had enough of fresh and sweet scents for the centennials. Good longevity!
As the name suggests, it’s totally green; to me, it smells like a Christmas tree (pine) over violets and a metallic note. Although it has that modern aquatic background, it feels different. The bottle is very original and heavy. We’ll see how it behaves on the skin.
As the name says, it smells green to the max, like a Christmas tree with pine, violets, and a metallic touch. It has that fashionable aquatic base, but you can tell it’s something else. The bottle is original and heavy; we’ll see how the skin takes it.
It’s hard to believe it doesn’t carry lemon or bergamot because it smells like pure citrus. Then it turns deep with woody and synthetic notes that make it addictive: sparkling, sharp, and delicious. Its dry-down is complex and almost indescribable for being so unique. It surpasses the average, so I recommend buying it blind if you like fresh and citrusy scents.
Fresh and very particular. At first, it smells strong, green, and spicy, almost like mosquito repellent, haha. Once it dries down, that rich violet note (the leaves) emerges. It becomes aquatic but keeps the greenness, with a metallic base that makes it unique. It has a touch of sweetness, but barely; it’s fresher than sweet. The performance is excellent. I recommend it for summer, especially for late afternoon/evening, ideal for the heat. I loved it. I give it 8.5/10.
Fresh and quite particular. At first, it smells strong, green, and spicy; the first time I thought it was mosquito repellent, haha. Once it dries down, that rich violet note appears. It’s leaning towards aquatic but keeps the green, with a metallic base that gives it the distinctive touch. It has something sweet, but barely; it’s fresher than sweet. The performance is very good; I recommend it for summer, especially for late afternoon/evening, ideal for high temperatures. Overall, I liked it a lot; I give it 8.5/10.
I absolutely love new and unique scents, so when I saw the ad for Zegna Triple Stitch Verdigris, my curiosity got the better of me and I bought it blind. It’s an aquatic woody fragrance blending cardamom with a frosty winter accord. The result smells like liquid metal amidst warm spices, thyme, and violet leaves; in my opinion, it’s a niche aroma given its price (£180) and ingredient quality, distancing itself from mass-market design. Perhaps because it sits on that border and is pricey in some places, it has few reviews. I picked it up on sale at the price of an Antonio Banderas, and it seems the perfumery wasn’t moving stock due to a lack of physical testers and few people having heard of it before. What I like most is that it’s very unconventional and original; it doesn’t smell like anything I’ve tried before. It has a strong, seductive personality perfect for going out or to the office, and I always receive compliments. The bottle is also attractive and modern, with melted green lines giving it a futuristic and artistic touch. All in all, Zegna Triple Stitch Verdigris has surprised me, and I recommend it to anyone wanting something different and groundbreaking. It doesn’t go unnoticed and leaves a mark if you use it as a signature. That said, it is expensive, so don’t buy blind unless you have a collection and want to escape the banalities and knock-offs from brands like Puig (CH, JPG, Rabanne). If you find it on sale like I did, buy blind without hesitation.
