I’m falling hard for this Essence Collection line, much like when you’re attracted to someone but know you’ll get into trouble (in this case, with your wallet). It’s a very good perfume, a masculine fragrance with floral essences where the iris really stands out, very natural and persistent. A proposal that smells both intense and elegant; the floral notes blend well with the musk that gives it depth. The evolution is fairly linear, slightly powdery, the bergamot is truly delicious, and the longevity is consistent, as is the sillage. I liked it; it’s delicate but noticeable.
I’m dangerously falling for this Essence Collection line, much like when you’re attracted to someone but know you’ll get into trouble (in this case, with your wallet). A proposal that smells both intense and elegant; the floral notes blend well with the musk that gives it depth. I tried this fragrance at Palacio de Hierro in downtown Mexico City. Exquisite aroma; the iris and violet really dominate. I also detected some lavender that isn’t listed. Very pretty, but it has a problem: it’s not for men! It’s marketed as such, but it smells distinctly feminine, especially when dry. Excellent for girls, but unless they want to conquer another man, they shouldn’t wear it. Side note: Madras Cardamom from this line is exquisite and isn’t on Fragrantica yet. The best cardamom I’ve ever smelled.

Very elegant, floral and fresh. It’s not feminine; I feel comfortable and masculine wearing it. The iris is lovely, and the violet reminds me of childhood candies, especially at first. The longevity is good and the sillage moderate, enough to be noticed. One of my favourites; I never get tired of using it, whether for formal events or sport.
Very elegant, floral and fresh, as you can tell. It’s not super feminine, to be honest; I feel comfortable and masculine wearing it. The iris is lovely, and the violet reminds me of childhood candies called just that, especially at first. The longevity is very good and the sillage moderate, just right to be noticed. One of my favourites; I never get tired of using it, whether for formal events or sport.
Floral, clean and elegant. A beautiful, pleasant take on iris. Completely unisex. I’m already thinking about making it my signature scent.
