  V is essentially a clone of Armani Prive Bois D’Encens: the same scent, yet you pay more and receive half the bottle size – a total audacity. To be blunt, there are two minor differences: first, it lasts a couple of hours longer than the original, though not by a vast margin; second, while the opening is equally linear, towards the end V reveals something Armani lacks. As the incense fades, its intensity drops to reveal a beautiful, creamy amber and vanilla base that is resinous and spiced, even as it is about to vanish and become very soft. Both are incredible, gorgeous, and addictive liturgical incenses of top quality, but if Armani already seemed expensive to me, V is madness given the higher price and lesser volume… although, if you have plenty of money, it is a gem. Logically, I still prefer Armani. On skin, it lasts around 8 to 9 hours with moderate sillage initially. It performs better in cool or mild weather and at night, though it also works well in the morning during autumn or winter.
