It’s quite an expensive perfume, $320 for a 100ml bottle, but it is rich, modern, and easy to wear. In extreme heat, it comes out phenomenally; it’s not a scent that overwhelms or offends. I read that it smells like Tom Ford’s Mandarino Di Amalfi and, having it in my collection, I confirm it smells almost identical from start to finish. However, the Loumari version has more presence, fewer ‘spikes’, and feels a bit fresher and more citrusy. It’s my first perfume from the house; I bought it blind and, haha, that bottle will never end. The quality of Aomak is felt, even slightly better than Tom Mandarino, although the scent is nearly the same. If you like Tom Ford’s, you’ll like this.

Aomak is Loumari’s new proposal, ideal for days of extreme heat. I ordered it blind, imagining it based on contradictory reviews, but upon trying it, it reminded me of Tom Ford’s Mandarino Di Amalfi, with the difference being that Aomak includes mint and results in a fresher scent. In longevity and projection, it surpasses Tom Ford, though not to an extreme degree. In my opinion, it is worth it as the original is difficult to find and you pay for these performances. Just waiting for it to become more commercial and lower the price.
Aomak is Loumari’s new venture, designed for climates that are simply unbearable. I ordered it blind based on contradictory reviews, but upon trying it, it reminded me of Tom Ford’s Mandarino Di Amalfi, with the key difference being that Aomak has a mint note that makes it fresher. In terms of longevity and projection, it outperforms Tom Ford, though not by much. In my view, it is worth it because the original is hard to come by and you pay for these performances. Just waiting for it to become more accessible and drop in price.
It reminds me a lot of Acqua Di Parma’s Mirto Di Panarea Riserva. It has that mandarin with the typical salty and marine notes of the Mirto, just like in Acqua Di Parma. It has good projection and longevity. It will please without fail; it won’t blow your mind.
