Where have I been hiding this all along? I feel silly for not trying it sooner than this Agent Provocateur gem. L’Agent is exactly what its name promises: seductive, with a spicy kick and brutal performance. It’s the affordable, perfect alternative to that Tom Ford Black Orchid which costs a fortune. It’s a merciless fragrance, very territorial and bold. It starts strong with incense, myrrh, and patchouli (even though they say they’re base notes, you notice them instantly), creating a balsamic and classic base that the hyssop and angelica refresh. You get a sweet, narcotic touch, almost like ylang-ylang or labdanum. Then comes a luminous breeze of rose that lightens that gothic and malevolent air, preventing it from being too heavy. The base is an ambrosial incense with floating resins and oriental liqueurs, with no gaps. The notes not only fit but create a lustful magic. Sometimes it smells like cigar smoke or even blackboard marker, but without losing any charm. It’s the essence of that provocative lingerie: red lips, black heels, messy hair, and tight corsets. Use it with care, because if you overdo it, you suffocate yourself; if you use too little, it hides and nobody notices. The trail is potent and lasts a very long time. Its only flaw is that Agent Provocateur doesn’t sell it everywhere, but if you get the chance, try it; it’s one of the best.

I absolutely loved this agent; it’s adorable, sensual, and very persistent. It’s not expensive, but it smells like the complete opposite: mysterious and intriguing. It’s floral, but with a very modern touch. It has excellent fixation and good projection. The bottle is very original. I’d say it’s more for women from the age of 25, though it depends on each person. Definitely it’s a nocturnal and elegant fragrance that fails in nothing.
