For me, it’s a more polished and pleasant version of CK1. It lasts a bit longer, and although they are very similar, this one has a spicier and citrusy touch. Honestly, they seem to be two perfumes that do the same thing, and with such an excessive price, there’s no point in owning both, especially if the quality doesn’t justify the difference with the original.
It’s a delightful citrus scent reminiscent of CK1, but the trail is weak and the longevity is short on my skin. It’s ideal for hot summer days; as it dries down, you notice white florals and a very subtle salty note. The price is debatable given what it offers, so better to try a decant or discovery set before spending.
Pleasant, yes, and it smells like CK1, that clean scent for when you don’t want to stand out too much. The problem is that Quercus costs much more than CK, and to my nose, it’s not worth it in terms of quality, longevity, or sillage. In short, I see no reason to buy it.
It’s not a citrus at the level of others I’ve tried, but it’s cheerful, like a fresh meadow with a breeze under summer clouds. It starts citrusy and soapy, reminiscent of CK1 but with better quality. In the heart, there are fresh valley lilies and spicy cardamom that give it a spiced touch over a clean musk. It lasts 5-6 hours and becomes more polished with jasmine over a base of oakmoss. Elegant and classic, it’s worth it if you find it on offer.
