  • I see no one has commented on this. I received it yesterday and was stunned… does it remind anyone of Portrait of Lady by Frédéric Malle? I think it’s its little sister. I don’t know if I love it or hate it. I like the initial explosion of pure saffron, but not its evolution: suddenly the flowers settle with a touch of cedar. I’m bewildered. I can’t stop smelling it since yesterday, I’m hooked. I’ll keep testing it these days when it’s not so hot.

  • I am absolutely horrified by this fragrance. It was gifted to my mother and she loves it, but on me it has a terrible effect: it irritates me, gives me a headache and puts me in a bad mood. It’s very strong and long-lasting, and it’s hard to be in an enclosed place with someone wearing it. Be careful not to apply too much, girls!

In my humble opinion, this is for those seeking potent fragrances with a strong trail and top-tier longevity. The little pink bottle and black box scream exoticism and rarity. If you like dark, unusual perfumes, this is your ideal; if you prefer tender, sweet scents, better not. Moroccan roses, ambery notes, and cedar dominate, with a powdery touch. I’d say it’s for over 25s, though it can be worn at any age. It works well for the office or formal events in moderation. I define it as very sensual. The longevity is surprising; it lasted more than a day and a half without me noticing because I took a shower. If you want something that lasts all day, don’t hesitate. Also, it’s very uncommon; I’ve never seen anyone wearing it in Mexico.

In my opinion, it’s for women looking for strong perfumes with a great trail and excellent longevity. The little pink bottle with the black box hints at that exotic and strong side. If you like dark and unusual fragrances, go ahead, it’s ideal. If you prefer tender and sweet ones, don’t even try it. Moroccan roses, musk and cedar predominate, with a touch of talc. I’d put it for over 25s, although it suits any age. With moderation, it works well during the day, at the office or at formal events. I define it as very sensual. The longevity is surprising; it lasted me more than a day and a half without me knowing if it would last longer because I had a shower. If you want it to last, don’t hesitate. Also, it’s uncommon; I’ve never met anyone in Mexico who uses it.

  • I like it, I like this ‘Agent Provocateur’. It is true that it’s strong, different, and very original; these are the perfumes that don’t smell like everything else, now there are so many that are identical… For me, what predominates is the rose. At first, it’s like a slap in the face, but what lingers is that rose, now softer and not cloying at all. The price is fantastic; on some pages it’s considered niche.

  • I like this ‘Agent Provocateur’. It’s strong, different and original, just what was missing among so many similar perfumes. For me, the rose predominates: at first it’s a punch, but what remains is that softer rose and nothing cloying. The price is fantastic; on some pages it’s considered niche.

Agent Provocateur is the house’s signature, inspired by their lingerie, with the idea of showcasing a wild, dark, and aggressive rose. The fragrance delivers: it’s the dirtiest, most animalistic and daring rose I’ve tried. Forget the magnolia and start with an explosion of earthy, tipsy saffron (with a hint of martini) that drags you into the heart. Then comes the rose with dry vetiver, but the saffron remains, giving sharp nuances, while the rose ‘refreshes’ a bit. It finishes with a dirty, greasy, penetrating animal musk, nothing clean or childish, threatening vulgarity but very expressive. It was born to accompany lingerie and does it perfectly; it’s carnal, animal and sexual, with nothing fresh, sweet or aquatic. It’s a seductive beast and shameless, almost unisex, with powerful trail and longevity. It’s not for bathing or casual use, it’s for formal occasions. The price is so low it’s a shame.

I have a love-hate relationship with this. I bought it blindly thinking it was a sensual rose, but upon receiving it, the strong incense put me off (it’s not my style). Over time, I liked it more: sometimes it smells like a rich rose, other times like strong saffron that pushes me away. The trail is beastly and lasts a long time. It’s for winter, day or night, but be careful with the amount, it can be overwhelming. I wouldn’t recommend gifting it to someone who doesn’t like perfume.

I have a love-hate relationship with this perfume. I bought it blindly thinking it would be a sensual rose scent, but upon receiving it, I felt immense disgust at that strong incense note that simply doesn’t suit me. Over time, I started to like it more; sometimes it smells like a rich rose, other times like a saffron so strong it pushes me away. The trail is grand and the longevity very good. It’s a winter scent, for day or night, but watch the amount as it can be overwhelming. I wouldn’t recommend it as a gift to anyone who isn’t a perfume lover.

I absolutely love it! It doesn’t weigh you down or scream for attention, yet it’s noticeable. That ‘saffron punch’ is my favourite part, although it fades quickly. Then come the dried roses, like oil, uncomplicated and slightly soapy. It sounds vintage, and perhaps the pomegranate bottle wants to be that ‘rose bomb’. It smells explicit but beautiful. Eventually, it softens until it smells clean; on clothes, it was the first time I truly smelled like soap. I like it, and it’s a relief to find something different that doesn’t end up sweet or nothing.

  • Smells nice, but nothing more. Not worth the hype. Given everything else available and how short it lasts, I think it’s safe to skip. I’d give it a 6/10.
