  Bestial, a jewel of perfumery. Smells of rosewood and, although it’s not listed on the card, to me it also smells of pink pepper. It reminds me of Swarovski’s Aura but more balsamic and with more body. A cousin of mine who lives in Switzerland wore it and brought it from there; it was a delight to smell.

  Exquisite fragrance that I used for years. It’s potent, ideal for winter. Although I’m not a fan of roses on their own, here the blend with other flowers and components makes it unique and magnificent. You can clearly detect coriander, fruity notes, Brazilian rosewood and cardamom, but also jasmine, ylang-ylang and valley lily. What really makes it last are sandalwood, amber, patchouli, musk, vetiver and incense, a perfect combination. It’s timeless, although heavy for the cold, with great personality. Note from 2022: I adore Adolfo Domínguez’s eaux de toilette; on my skin they last for ages and leave a trail; everything I look for in an expensive imported perfume but at an accessible price. I have the Agua Fresca de Rosas Blancas, which on my skin smells very similar to the Rose by Pierre Cardin, which I can no longer find in my country (I think they discontinued it or they no longer import it). I recommend it for evening and winter, just like the Rose. If someone loved that perfume and can’t find it, give it a try; it’s very similar. I hope my review helps.

Although roses aren’t my favourite flower, the blend with the other ingredients makes it special, unique and magnificent. I clearly detect coriander, fruity notes, Brazilian rosewood and cardamom; also jasmine, ylang-ylang and valley lily. But what really makes it last are sandalwood, amber, patchouli, musk, vetiver and incense, in a perfect combination that makes it unique and exclusive. One of my favourites for winter. I think it’s timeless, although it’s heavy and better suited for the cold. It’s a perfume with great personality. I’m saying this because I have the Agua Fresca de Rosas Blancas and bought it because on my skin it smells very similar to the Rose by Pierre Cardin, which I used for years and can no longer find in my country; I think they discontinued it or they no longer import it, perhaps in some old perfumeries. Anyway, I already have this one which I feel is more for evening and winter, just like the Rose. I’m mentioning it in case someone loved that perfume and can’t find it; perhaps they should try this Agua Fresca de Rosas Blancas as it’s very similar. I hope my review helps.

  I loved it! I never saw it again. I had it in the 90s and that touch of rose with a hint of acidity was unique. What a pity it no longer exists…

  Finally found it, and although it didn’t disappoint regarding value for money, the scent didn’t surprise me: after two minutes, it smells like my signature scent, Eau du soir, but a lighter version. No projection; on my skin, it lasted 10 hours close to the skin without leaving a trail like the original. If you enjoy floral cypresses and don’t want to spend a fortune, it’s a top choice.

  Ideal for the cold, lasts all day and deserves every euro. A classy scent that doesn’t overwhelm. I’ll definitely repurchase without hesitation.

  I love it for autumn and winter: it lasts a long time and has excellent value for money. It’s a classy scent and not invasive. I recommend it without a doubt.
