Curious, I only bought a sample and was rather disappointed. Perhaps I don’t like gourmands or it seems too simple. It just smells like synthetic vanilla custard from a tin, with no papaya or guava. It projects hardly at all on the skin and lasts about three hours. Definitely not for me, though someone might enjoy it smelling like a quick dessert, as there are tastes for everything.
I absolutely love it! I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. I use it a lot blended with other fragrances and, wow, it always smells incredible.
Smells divine but doesn’t last a minute. It lasts on me just as long as a body mist.
A gift from my mother years ago; it’s a vanilla bomb. The fruity notes are there, sweet and tropical, though subtle. The best part is mixing it with other perfumes—it works wonders. It’s a fortune in the wardrobe, so I use very little. It’s strong, and if you overdo it, it can give you a bit of a vertigo. The dry-down is more elegant: starts fruity and finishes with a touch of caramel or burnt sugar. It’s suitable all year if dosed correctly, except at the beach in intense heat. Not super sophisticated, ideal for everyday wear.
