  Absolutely dreadful. The first application hits you like a slap in the face, transporting you straight to a plastics fire in a detergent factory. As it dries, it softens, but that initial blast remains. It’s unpleasant and excessively potent, but in a bad way.

  I tested this on my skin for several days, and honestly, it just didn’t work for me. The vetiver is barely noticeable, while the champaca and florals dominate the entire journey with an animalic base that suits me poorly; I’m convinced it contains civet, even though it’s not stated. It smells more feminine than masculine, though that’s a matter of taste, and the longevity isn’t the bomb I expected: it lasts a decent time, but the trail is only light to moderate. You can tell it’s a quality product, but I wouldn’t buy it; I was hoping for a powerful vetiver, but it turned out to be a floral animalic scent. By the way, with continuous wear, I’m starting to like it more and the vetiver begins to emerge in the dry-down… it’s a difficult fragrance, perhaps Dr No should review it instead.
