Lives up to its name: it’s oud through and through. While they say it’s named after their son Max, this fragrance is an oud bomb, so the joke must stem from there. Despite that, it smells fantastic and is very wearable. It has a distinctly animalic touch, but it’s clearly well-balanced. I consider it a gem from Bortnikoff, another special piece from this house… Scent: 8 Longevity: 9 Projection: 7 Value for money: 5 Versatility: 6 Originality: 8 Overall: 8.5
